I had the Steak & Bluecheese Salad. The steak was cooked exactly as I asked and the salad was a delicious complement. Our server was friendly and personable and she took great care of us. We were enjoying ourselves so much, that we moved downstairs after dinner for the flourless chocolate cake and coffee. We cozied up on the couches and played a game of Scrabble and then cards. We also loved the music on the playlist. And they have the best gluten-free burger buns we've ever had! We will definitely be returning.

IMO, possibly the friendliest pub in Halifax. The food is always great and original. Nothing fried, Always fresh and creative. Fantastic selection of local beers, and the whisky selection is top notch. Comfortable atmosphere and the staff are second to none. I'm sure it's going to be a great contributor to the reimaging of Gottingen Street.
Had the meat lovers pizza and nacho dip. Unbelievable value, great atmosphere, and service is amazing. Also tried the "judgement j" for "desert". Can't disappoint with this place!
The food was great. The beer was cold and the Happy Hour prices very reasonable. Cool atmosphere. So nice to have a spot like this in the neighborhood! Slainte! 🍻 👍🏻
We just wanted a beer after a long drive. What we got was some amazingly friendly service at the bar, great seafood nosh, and fantastic beers. Thanks for making our first night in Halifax a warm welcome!
Went for a late dinner with my daughter last week, our waitress was so nice and the food was amazing! Your ribs are to die for! We will definitely be back !

My boyfriend and I came up to the city for date night! They had a sign outside that said "come in and try our lobster mac and cheese!" so in we went! We found a nice table in a corner, service was prompt. We ordered the lobster dip with chips as an app. It was delicious! Nice big pieces of lobster!!! The lobster mac and cheese was unreal. We Couldn't finish our plates, but took out leftovers home. (made for a great late night snack!) will definitely be back!
Both food and service was fantastic and we had 12 people! Everyone enjoyed their meal most had leftovers and our waitress was top notch

I was treated to a Haddock burger and salad yesterday, and it was so tasty. The service was great and the food was awesome. I look forward to eating there again.
A sweet little spot to hangout for a few drinks ans food. Came here on a Friday night at around 9:30. They had live music and the place was pretty busy. We were just able to snag a spot for 2. Despite the small size, the place didn't feel overcrowded. Service was quick and they had a good selection of drinks and bar food. The music was really good and the overall atmosphere felt very welcoming. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we were definitely glad we came!
A must dine in when you go to Halifax! Awesome, courteous, quick service! The Elliot Page vegan chocolate cake ( layered chocolate cake with creamy chocolate mousse) an absolute perfect end to the scrumptious meal…even if you share it (though you wouldn’t want to share it!)
Everything we ordered was so flavourful. It has many vegan options (the pics are some of the vegan options available). They also have gluten-free options!
They even have weekly events like Trivia, Open Mic, Live Music and Comedy evenings; though we didn’t make it for those.
Service was awesome, fun atmosphere, live music when we went was really good. Although very cold in the winter with the door opening and closing but overall really nice.
This place is cozy and the music is not too loud. You can have a nice conversation. There's a good selection of beer. The service is friend and the haddock burger was just succulent! Best I've ever had.
During my short visit to Halifax, I came here to taste their brunch. Unfortunately, it is only served during the weekend so I ordered from the regular menu. I was dining as a Vegetarian with a gluten and dairy allergy and they had tons of options. I had the Bulgogi mushroom burger on a gluten-free bun with roasted potatoes on the side. It was absolutely amazing! The pickled red cabbage really elevates the burger and I loved that the potatoes weren't fried. Highly recommend as this was super filling.
For dessert, I was offered a dairy free and gluten-free chocolate torte that just hit all the right spots in my mouth. It wasn't dense and the cream melted in your mouth oh so perfectly. Definitely end your meal with this dessert. You won't regret it :)

We had a great time at foggy goggle. Our server (Joe I think?) was super knoedgeabke and made great recommendations. We had the lobster bruschetta which was amazing. Also had the peanut bowl which was quite good but too much sauce for my preference, and the burger which was one of the best burgers we've had outside of Switzerland. The had a high chair for our 10 month old and the sever even thought to being some wetted napkins to wipe her hands before dinner since she had been crawling on the floor. Could definitely see this being one of our go to spots.
My sister brought us here for burger week. I got the lobster mac and cheese and it was amazing! It was about 20 mins to be seated and 30 mins to get food but we didn't mind because the food was delicious and the server very nice!
This place is wonderful! The staff is fabulous, the food is fantastic (GF waffles and GF salmon Benny were incredible), and there was ZERO line for brunch at noon on a Sunday. Edna has decent food and all, but why would you bother waiting an hour for their food when FG is just as good, cheaper, and much faster?

Recently came here for Sunday lunch/brunch. First sat upstairs but it was so so hot and we don't like sweating into our food while eating so sat at the bar downstairs where it was cooler. I was impressed with the menu since the prices were good and they had plenty of vegan options for me. I had the vegan huevos rancheros and they really hit the spot . Others in our party had the ribs which was a huuuge portion. Also got mussels but they had barely any sauce. Would come again!
As soon as I arrived in Halifax I went straight here to try out the lobster bruschetta and it was good. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the staff is attentive and friendly. They have good options of foods and drinks so it’s awesome.

Cool place with fun food and drink selections! Blended beer/cider drinks were tasty, Waffle Bites were a fun snack. Was pretty chill on a Saturday evening. We were visiting town and unsure about the area, and staff gave us some directions and advice- great experience!
Great music tonight. Great food, too. Long wait for food, but wait staff was apologetic, and when we got the food it was very tasty! We'll be back for sure.
Great happy hour specials and cozy almost coffee shop like atmosphere. Food was good although quantity left a bit to be desired. You can snag extra drinks before happy hour ends even if you haven't finished your drink too!
Cute place, looks like it would have a good atmosphere at night, but we were the first and only ones for the brunch when we arrived. But still a nice place, good food and nice staff nonetheless.
I stopped in here for a vegan lunch and had the Peanut Bowl - it was real tasty. The sauce was delicious. Service was fast and friendly! It's a cozy pub atmosphere. Highly recommended.
