Loved the drinks, between a few trips here I think I have made my way through the cocktail menu, and the server is always very knowledgeable regarding the drinks and making suggestions about what to order and what each drink is like! The food has been delicious every time we have come, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Great food, great drinks, fabulous spot. I highly recommend Lot Six, and I'll absolutely be returning the next time I'm in Halifax!
My partner and I have been coming here regularly since we first moved to Halifax, and the service and quality blow us away every time. The bartenders, servers, and managers will treat everyone that comes through the door like valued friends. Their food is refreshingly simple, and their cocktails are worth every dollar. Their menu really shows the hard work and dedication that the entire staff has. I highly recommend to anyone, local or tourist! :-)
We came here by chance and were so happy we did. We never expected it to be so big but were pleasantly surprised when the host walked us into the dinning area, such a beautiful place! Staff were friendly and our desserts were to die for. We had the Sugar cake, apple crisp and chocolate three ways and we recommend each and every one of them. We are coming back before we leave Halifax. If you're ever in town, you must visit Lot Six.
Lot 6, Sarah and her staff just get it right. With there beautiful wine list, great cocktails, and menu they have hospitality down to an art. When in Halifax it is a must!
Sarah and her team went above and beyond for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better venue or staff! They made these signature drinks for our Star Wars themed wedding, and the food was out of this world! I would recommend this venue for brides who want an easy and beautiful venue. So thankful!

Definitely one of the top places to eat and drink in Halifax! Cozy and friendly atmosphere, delicious food, amaaaazing cocktails and most of all excellent service. Our server Eric was a real pro! Very helpful and friendly, making suggestions and always making sure we have everything we need. Can’t wait to be back to have some more delicious oysters and to try more cocktails�!
I was in town tattooing at the Maritime Tattoo Festival, and I was lucky enough to dine at Lot Six on my last evening in Halifax. Their food, service and atmosphere are top shelf! The oysters were the best I've had, and our Waiter was a perfect gentleman, and so very attentive with an amazing attitude. I will never go to Halifax with out a stop, or 3 at Lot Six!
Awesome! Squeezed us in on a Saturday night without a booking.... lovely food, great staff, fab atmosphere. Food took a little while but the waitress took one dish off our bill without us even complaining! Such amazing service.
Attended a wedding there recently and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Atmosphere, staff and food were all top notch. Popcorn haddock was sooo good. I will definitely be back.

Went last Friday and sat on the patio. Marie M took care of us and she was a real treat! Nice person. Had oysters and the charcuterie board and this was excellent. Great happy hour and a cool place to hang out. Put it on your list....

The food was great, an incredible atmosphere but more importantly our server Virginia was amazing!!! The table next to us were a pain in the a$$! She dealt with them like a pro! She is efficient, friendly and hilarious. We will be back again with the hope the Virginia will be working. Thanks for making our evening sooooo entertaining!!!

Today I had the pleasure of going to Lot Six for brunch. It was simply delicious. The best brunch I have ever had....and the cinnamon buns are worth every calories. What a great way to start the day!:)
Lot six is a perfect spot to gather with friends! The drinks are outstanding and the food is top notch! The service is amazing. We had the pleasure of being served by Rachel tonight and she was unbelievable! She reccomended some of the best cocktails and served a very large group amazingly well! We will all be coming back due to the incredible service!

We're from New Brunswick, and this restaurant was highly recommended by my boss. We shared the octopus, lobster, lamb, and the beet pasta (plus dessert). Everything was delicious, and service was exceptional. Most of all, I was impressed when the bartender came up to me when he had a feeling I wasn't enjoying my drink (my fault for ordering something I wasn't familiar with), and insisted on making me something else I would enjoy, which ended up being amazing. I never would have said anything, but it was immensely appreciated! We will definitely be back.

Had an awesome time. Food was great, atmosphere was great, waitress was awesome. We had a group of 22 and everyone enjoyed it. Would definitely go back.
Visited on a Thursday evening for drinks and bar snacks. We were seated by the front bar, very friendly service. The food we had was very tasty. Delicious truffle fries. The calamari was not as described on the menu as it seemed to have a different topping but was still nice!
Cocktails were also very good.
Loved the vibe. The place is beautifully set up. We went for the brunch and it was delicious. We ordered eggs Benedict with salmon and the avocado croissant. The mimosa’s have a special place in our hearts now.

Right off the jump, we were treated so well. The staff are outstanding; friendly, engaging and knowledgeable.
It wasn’t long before we turned the decision making over to them and boy, they made it wonderful.
We started with fresh oysters, shared their Burger Week offering and picked items from the Dine Around menu, having a veritable smorgasbord of deliciousness.
The dessert, oh my, what a treat. Hats off to the pastry chef.
Completely impressed with the cocktails they crafted for us. There is a lot of beverage experience & knowledge, coupled with passion in spades.

At first , my partner and I are succumbed to a bar and couple tables upon entrance. We then proceed to our table, which is in a completely open space, skylight roof. My partner states: “very aesthetically pleasing restaurant”. The lobster rolls- was enough for the 2 of us. We received a very large portion of truffle fries. 10/10. Service was pleasant, waiter was great. Definitely will be coming back!! :)
I came here last week with a couple friends and had a great experience. I loved the vibe of the restaurant and we all loved our food. I got the artichoke risotto and it was delicious. One of my friends got the maple balsamic ribs and loved them but wasn’t full after so he got lobster mac and cheese to go (which he also enjoyed). My other friend really liked the jerk spiced tenderloin she ordered and was pleasantly surprised by the blueberry salsa. Her only complaint was that the meat wasn’t cooked equally throughout, it went from medium to well done from one side to the other. Which is the only reason why I’m rating this four stars, not five. Our waiter Will was great, he was super nice and answered our menu questions happily. He also made me a great and refreshing strawberry/lemon non-alcoholic drink! I’d definitely recommend this place for small groups or a date night!
We went there for our friends birthday, we were five people in total. It had a lot of sitting space but I’ve heard that it’s mostly reserved. Better to book it in advance. I would definitely go there again if I’m in Halifax. Their fries were very fresh and dips were awesome.

While you pay up for the vibe and downtown location, Lot Six offers a tasty meal to make the price worth it. Stopped by for dinner and got:
- Fresh Oysters and Baked Oysters: A bit disappointed that they weren't that special in quality/taste, just a bit bigger. The baked oysters also had this weird tomato sauce which I didn't think went well with them.
- Lobster Mac and Cheese: Now we're talking. While the serving size was small-ish, the mac had just enough cheese not to be overwhelming, and there were good chunks of lobster meat.
- Blackened Salmon: The quality of the salmon was outstanding, the couscous bed it was on brought out the char on the fish, and I liked the pops of corn that added sweetness to the dish.
- Chocolats Brownie Sundae: Decadence in a bowl. The homemade chocolate and vanilla icecream were really good.
Got a corner table by some books, which added a quaint vibe to the meal. Service was friendly and quick (thanks Nathan). Would recommend ypu reserve as it does getting full. Overall, Lot Six is a worthwhile visit.

Lot Six is by far one of our favourite Restaurants. It has a beautiful ambiance especially in the atrium with its glass roof and Edison lights. It's lively and the service it always great even when they are busy. The cocktails are always delicious and the food keeps us coming back again and again. If the atrium is too much for you they also have a study which is another dining area off the front bar. It's quieter and delivers a great alternative for those who may not want to sit in the atrium with the main bar and music.
We were out for a friends birthday and we were so fortunate to have Maya as our server for the evening. Not only did she take the time to listen to our crazy stories, but she actually made a connection with each one of us. She went out of her way to ask the bartender to try to make a special version of a shot that was not on their menu ( shout out to the bartender as well ). Probably the best experience we have ever had with a server! Lot six is very lucky to have her on staff!!! When your there, ask for Maya, you will not be disappointed!!

It was a rainy evening but we wanted to sit outside. Originally we were told nobody was able to serve us outside but the young lady at door asked and they were able to accommodate our request! The patio is well covered so we didn't get wet.
We had AMAZING cocktails that were custom made! Shout to Dan and Janice for making us absolutely delicious gin cocktails and for being awesome servers! Cocktails were perfectly balanced and creative. We had told Dan and Janice what we didn't like and they created the perfect drinks for us!
We also ordered some oysters and fried foods. The oysters were so fresh!
We'll definitely be returning, if Dan and Janice ever leave we'll follow them wherever!
Extremely satisfied with a late night Sunday dinner I had here. Despite the atrium being closed, the dining room inside was still nice with plenty of diners and atmosphere. The cocktails were top notch but the highlight was the shrimp and scallop pasta. The price point, flavor, presentation, I’m still thinking about it. I highly recommend checking this place out

We didn't make a reservation so it did take a while to get in, we went for a walk on the beautiful waterfront and got a text when it was ready (quicker than expected wait time considering it was a Saturday night, we were happy). I love margaritas - with reservation, I decided to take to leap and ordered the Thai Chili Lemongrass Margarita (the server offered to make something else if i was unhappy with it). It was simply delicious - my only beef is that it was quite small for the price $15 so I only had one). We rdered the Wonton Nachos - so yummy!! In tradition of burger week, we had the Swimming Pig burger with pineapple relish and mac & cheese; great combination but a little messy to eat tho very delightfully flavorful. The server was amazing, pleasant, friendly and helpful. The host bringing us to our table was not so personable. Nice atmosphere, there was a birthday dinner at the next table so it was a little loud but I feel on a regular night, this could be a new favorite spot; cozy, fresh flowers and candles. We will definitely return. I can't wait to have another margarita!
It was a really good diner, the food was amazing and the portions were really big. Beautiful restaurant and really good service. Nothing bad to say about Lot Six!

We were the first to arrive for Saturday brunch, and I felt like we got star treatment. The restaurant itself is very unique and we sat under the glass ceiling. There were fresh flowers scattered about the room that made it feel like we were at a celebration. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. I had the lobster Benedict and bottomless mimosas, and she was quick with the refills. She was also helpful and pointing out some things to see around town. I wish we had another day in Halifax to eat here!
Got there at 10:56. No signs anywhere that they were closed and door was open. Got kicked out (awkward) because they only open at 11.. so we came back 4 minutes after 😂😂 please add some sort of indication that you are closed.
