Calamari was great, I think they could get a little more creative with the sauces, great tartar sauce though. Decent lobster roll, the coleslaw was a little heavy but to each their own. Overall it was a great experience and perfect diner style food.
My favourite restaurant over the last 13 years we lived here, and there are 3 restaurants closer to us! The Diner's lobster club sandwich is the best in NS. I even have a T-shirt that says "Finer Diner" on it...how's that for loyalty? Look at the photo of the Club we had last night.
Somebody here really knows how to run a great diner. We got the last table on the deck and menus were brought promptly. Looked like one guy and a bus boy were the only wait staff so I was prepared for delays but everything arrived promptly, hot, fresh and very tasty. My chowder had real depth of flavour, salad was crisp and not over dressed. My companions clams and chips were as good or better than we'd ever had anywhere. Big chunk of fresh lemon, which I always appreciate with fish. Wish we'd had time for dessert. Very much looking forward to our next visit and trying other menu items.

Attentive but not pushy service. Delicious food! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, while my friend's chowder was really tasty, too. The coconut cream pie was yummy. The homemade rhubarb pie with caramel drizzle was an unusual and successful creation. The interior is pleasantly nostalgic, without being too kitschy for comfort. I will definitely return in future.
Very friendly service, Great muscles, and the seafood platter was full of flavour. I had a great conversation with the owner, and wish him and his family great success. Forgot to mention the view, so simple yet gorgeous!
We stopped in for lunch on the way to Peggy’s Cove. It was a charming spot! We had the lobster roll, lobster club sandwich, two kids meals, rhubarb caramel pie and chocolate torte. All the food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place in Indian harbour. The food is to die for.
This place has very cool vibe. The servers are great and the food's delicious. I ordered Alfredo Pasta with chicken and Mushrooms, ooh my god, that was the best pasta, so creamy and the right amount of herbs. My husband ordered a lobster sandwich and he enjoyed that as well..
It is by the water and has patio and indoor seating. We chose the patio because of lovely weather.
I must say wherever we ate in Indian harbour, we had delicious finger licking food.. fortunate eh!!
The washrooms were clean, there is parking, food was little pricy but great quality for price, quick serving even though they had lot of rush. I can't remember the name of our server but he is very warm.
If I get a chance to go to Nova Scotia, I would go there again !!
