Charming historic building in downtown Guelph that serves good food. We visited on a Monday evening and the place was 50% full. Service was attentive, atmosphere was pleasant, and food arrived in decent time.
Looking forward to going back for drinks & apps with friends.
This place has great atmosphere and staff. The wine was really expensive ($17 for a 9oz Pinot noir). The bbq cauliflower was amazing, I had it as an appetizer. When the meal came and it tasted like standard low quality pub fare. We had the turkey club and Buddah bowl. In the Buddah bowl, the avocado was served rock solid, I couldn't pierce it with a fork. The avocado was was quickly replaced when I pointed it out. For the price and style of restaurant I expected better quality food.
The Albion Hotel has a really great atmosphere. It feels upscale yet comfortable. The seating varies from booths to nice arm chairs and they provide pillows as well. Great place to meet up for dinner and drinks. The food was reasonably priced and tasted great, and I would definitely recommend the Caesar.
