A delicious health, hospitality and charm oasis in Gravenhurst! I had the black bean patty bowl with unlimited toppings and the kids had healthy oatmeal cookies and a peanut butter, banana cocoa smoothie. I'm amused by the kitchen stove behind the front counter with all kinds of pots going... made me feel I was at a friend's house who was cooking for me... a fantasy that pretty much never happens! Everything was fresh and made to order. The kids were delighted with 'Howard', the fish in the bowl at our table. Even bought vintage harmonica and yo-yo toys for the kids in the shop after our meal and taught my 4-year old how to type on a typewriter! We were so glad to find this place. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Everything on the menu looked absolutely amazing and I couldn't decide what to get. I asked for a recommendation, and Emily (the chef) suggested a wrap with the works, including the delicious eggplant relish (which luckily for me they also sell in jars), roasted tomatoes, and black bean patties. The wrap was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavour, and pairs great with their signature drink the Relish Fog. I ended my lunch with one of their black bean brownies which was equally as delicious.
Definitely recommend to anyone in the area, you will not be disappointed!
We were five friends together on our summmer fun trip to Gravenhurst. We searched online for a good restaurant for lunch, but also on a whim asked some ladies on the street where they absolutely loved to eat. They said they loved "Relish", so off we went straight to relish!
It was a very charming, quaint place with the perfect ambiance and most positive and smiling staff. The food was absolutely divine and their service was friendly and fast.
All in all, it was a great experience for us
