I love the Shepherd’ Crook in Georgetown. A wonderful place to hang out, eat or have a glass of beer, while listening to the Georgetownians jamming and sharing their musical talents (Wednesday evenings) - my hangout place, when I wait for my son to finish his dance classes down the road. 👌👌👌
Fantastic Pub in the heart of Georgetown. Good range of Ales and Lagers and the food was just awesome. We were only in Georgetown for 6 days and ate here almost every day.
Friendly staff helped of course and they were very attentive to our needs.

Another day trip, and we were passing through Georgetown at dinner time. As we drive along Main Street, we spotted Shepherd's Crook. It is a relatively long and narrow pub-style restaurant, so the small-ish entrance opens to a spacious dining room. Lots of warm wood furnishings everywhere.
The menu has typical pub fare. SWMBO opted for Fish and Chips, which included two pieces of haddock in a beer batter. SWMBO said the batter was a bit too doughy for her liking. Also, the tartar sauce was more like tzatziki than a typical tartar.
I had the Chicken Curry. Although it tasted good, I could have done without the potato in the recipe. With the pita, the basmati rice, and the potato, three different starches were too much.
Service was friendly and good.

Good food. Great atomosphere. Good service. Neat location. Killer local beer list. I will return when I'm in Georgetown again.
Great place. Our group spent a lovely evening there after doing a concert in the area, and quite enjoyed it! Great people, yummy food. They have live music some evenings, including the evening we were there the first time. We've been back several times, and will go again.
Cheers type friends. Great menu, and onion scoops are fantastic. Highly recommended hang out.
Nothing screams "Summer is almost here!!!!!" more than Fried Coconut Shrimp!

In all seriousness, today was great! enjoyed my first Patio since the re-opening in Ontario, Canada. We came across this little gem in Georgetown @theshepherdscrook !!! ( I love meself a good PUB!) 🍺

In addition to our shrimp selection we also ordered an Artichoke Cheese dip and a Chicken Salad for the Win!

This place is sweet-The smell off the food creeping out to the sidewalk pulled us right in!!!. The area gives you a nice small town vibe and the service was Great! Super Friendly!

Great team of bartenders and wait staff who are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Large selection of draft beers and a wonderful menu all with a home-made taste. Do yourself a favour - support local and drop in for a drink or bite to eat some time.
Love this place - so cozy & a great place to enjoy the company of good people, and typically a live band on Friday nights.
They've always got a variety of specials to choose from, but my go-to dish is the Irish Nachos (nachos on thick-cut potato chips).
They've recently added an outdoor patio around back during Covid, hopefully it'll be there for years to come! 😊
My family of four all enjoyed their food but my meal (Shepherd's Burger with fries and coleslaw) was by far the best! The burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was great. We'll definitely be back:)
We were looking for a bite of lunch and we noticed this pub. We went here on a whim and we're so glad we did! As soon as we walked in we were impressed by the ambiance. My husband ordered the lamb burger, I ordered the Lancashire Hotpot and had the roasted beet salad to start. Everything was delicious and our server was super sweet. Would definitely dine here again.
Ended up here during a pub crawl. Turns out it was a Karaoke night. Honestly, this will be the place where the stories from the evening start. From awesome wait staff, especially Riley - to the eccentric dude running Karoke, this night really began at Shepherd's Crook! Sincerely it is a humble and awesome bar I hope to get back to.
