I am grew up in this town and we never had a really good burger joint... I moved to kelowna....no good burger joints.... I am now in town visiting friends and they suggested i try this place so i went for lunch today. OMG finally a really good burger!! I loved it..it was really busy in there today and it was sooooo worth the wait....loved every bite of it!!

Overall good and recommended. Good variety of poutine plates to order. Burgers are not too big but balanced with other items served with it. Nice selection of local beers to choose from. The "standard" poutine is not like you find in traditional Quebec plates but are good on their own. I don't think they are trying to make the traditional plates but are just making them their own. Only bad thing for me is their fries. Unevenly cooked because of how they cut them. Over cooked in most parts and just right in the middle part. They use the smaller Ontario variety of potatoes and not the Russet type. This is not a good potato for making fries, just ask McCain or McDonald's, they use the Russet potato.
Specialty poutines a are amazing. All fresh or homemade ingredients. Delicious taste combinations. Because of this, the prices are a bit higher, but the portions are big enough to split (my wife and I always do).
Burgers are some of the best I've ever had, though on the smaller side.
You must try "the cure" only available on the weekends. Monthly specials are usually great, too.
Atmosphere is great; a perfect feel for this style restaurant. Owners are a young couple that are super-friendly and helpful.

By far the best poutine I've ever eaten, and the burger was delicious as well. Such a cool little restaurant, the chef seems like a cool guy too. If you're in Georgetown or anywhere nearby, stop by for a meal, you won't be disappointed.
The Mess Hall - The Yess Hall. I went to The Mess Hall with my 2 friends, and we all had a great experience. I have maybe had poutine 3 times in my life (this being the third) and I will be back for more, and more, and more. I ordered The Jerk poutine which launched a massive uncontrollable flavour party in my mouth, it was fantastic. After I finished up with the poutine I put my swimming trunks on and dove in for more, this time having the pulled pork taco, I took a bite and again a flavour party began raging uncontrollably. This is a new spot in Georgetown and everyone should try it. Great food, Great prices, Great people, Great portions. What more do you want? Jerk chicken in your poutine? They have it.

Had a great experience coming to the Mess Hall Poutinerie!! They had so many delicious poutine options, even a good selection of vegetarian and vegan poutines!! Huge portions and lots of toppings, definitely worth coming to Georgetown for!!
Many options of different style of amazing poutines. Upon entering you are greated by a friendly staff who will help you with your selection. Upon making our decision we finally choose the Dirty Bird Poutine and The Bacon Double Cheese Burger Poutine size regular. Both poutines where elegant and delicous. The portion size are huge and can truly fill you up, if you are ever near Georgetown I would recomend anybody stopping by before they close down in April.
Food is amazing! Really good poutines with different styles and toppings, nice restaurant, cool music! Something really worth going for a food trip. Also a good place to eat after hiking or if you're in Georgetown
Great selection of gourmet poutines to choose from. I personally got the dirty bird and the yankee poutine and both were awesome. The yankee is more saucier than the dirty bird. Portions are very generous here and shareable with 2-3 people. I suggest coming here on an empty stomach and really hungry !
Got the Chedder, Bacon Jalapeno poutine. And it was amazing, not to spicy and layered with lots of cheese with dripping gravy that is pretty tasty. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you like cheese, potato and lots of bacon. It is really good with some sprinkles of salt on it along with vinegar. Can't wait to try one of the other ones on the menu.
The poutine options were amazing. We couldn't choose so we ordered different ones and shared. The portion size was huge (for me, at least). Very very yummy!
So yummy, huge portions of poutine, in various flavours. They serve local craft beers and ciders. Wonderful place to stop in and share a bite with friends while in Georgetown.
