Review Johnny's Restaurant - Gatineau

Stopped in here for breakfast recently. Location and atmosphere were great, service was fast and friendly, and the food was bomb. We had a meat lovers skillet and a classic breakfast with sausage. We really enjoyed the home fry chips, eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage was very good, not greasy or grissly. Our server could have given us our bill when we asked for it instead of making us wait another 15 minutes while she took more orders and chatted with people, but that's not the restaurants fault. Will definitely be back to try more items.

Such a great place to eat. No complaints at all. Friendly staff, most were keeping busy. Very clean. Not overly priced and you get plenty to eat. Desserts looked so delicious but we were too full to order any.

The missus and I finally had a chance to check this place out. We were not disappointed! Great selection of menu items for breakfast. Highly recommend the protein platter! The Paraguayan Steak was FANTASTIC! Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Ample seating for a diner this size. Parking is a bit of an issue, but there are plenty of spots at the surface lot less than a two minute walk away.

Good food, great service with a smile but portion seemed small and left us hungry later in the night. Prices were reasonable so maybe that's the trade off?

The food is family friendly and home cooked ! It is soo good ! The pickerel was wonderful and the waitress was super knowledge able ! Good food good price ..good reason to go to Aylmer!

Johnnys has never disappointed me when ordering liver and onions I have explored this meal across many borders and not one is even close to Johnnys The bacon alone make this meal even more delicious

Randomly came here after camping at Port Burwell and it was such a pleasant surprise. One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had. Great food, good coffee and excellent service.

Great experience every time I eat here. The food is always fresh and hot, and the price is affordable. The service is the best! My grandson asked about a hot dog, it wasn't on the menu, but they made him a hot dog. We had the chicken tortilla soup, and it tasted amazing.

This is our favourite place to go on payday. The food is homemade, tasty and reasonably priced. You get to be a regular fairly quickly

I have been going to Johny's for years and was never more disappointed with the food or the service as I was yesterday. After waiting well over forty minutes for our food to come out they had mixed up my entire skillet the only thing that was correct on my order was the toast, which is was completely burnt. They put the wrong meat in it, the eggs were hard poached instead of overeasy and the entire thing was mushy and felt undercooked. They offered to remake it but said it would take about 20 minutes so I just kept mine as I was hungry. They also now charge an extra dollar on all breakfast items after 11 which is bull. All in all my breakfast came to 18 dollars. If I'm spending that much to eat breakfast in Aylmer might as well go to Ruby's and get a good breakfast!

Great eats!!! They accommodated our family of 6 without any problem. The portions were big and everything was reasonably priced. The staff provided great customer service! Highly recommended
