Review Chez Antonio Restaurant - Gatineau

Great service, pretty good food, dinner prices are a bit high. Service is friendly, fast, and polite. The chicken was moist, but the gravy that came with it was very regular. I wish they had some different sauces. The house dressing for the salad is pretty good, but I find it weird that you have to pay extra to upgrade to a Greek salad...especially since this is supposed to be a Greek restaurant. You'd think the salad would automatically be a Greek salad. Children eat for free and that's a great incentive for families. I've read a few good reviews about their lunch menu, so it might be worth checking out for lunch. Overall it was a pretty good experience.

Steak was cooked to perfection! The pork brochette was so flavourful and tender. I was, however, disappointed in the Taramasalata which is usually my favorite entree. It did not taste the same as usual like something was missing.

Excellent food and service. Had a reservation to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Love that you can bring your own wine/beer! Highly recommend.

It’s a great place to enjoy your lunch. Very familiar restaurant, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

We were a group of 10 people and it was perfect. The food is excellent. We went on a Sunday and it was a very relaxing atmosphere.

April 2023 My first time here for a private birthday party of 30 people. The food, service, prices, and atmosphere here were pretty good. I found our room to be too noisy as there was another private party of 20 in the same room. I could hardly hear the person beside me speak, so that was difficult for conversation. Also, they love salt. The soup and gravy were over salted and I didn't care for this. I would eat here again as the menu is large, and there is a lot of selection. Portions were large. Bring your own wine and beer is prompted with no corkage fee.

Delicious food, fair price, the staff was really nice and i got my food super fast♡ it's fresh and delicious , definitely recommend!!

Amazing food, great service and excellent atmosphere!

Absolutely loved the souvlaki!! A plate size could be easily split into two. I was surprised that it didn't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own wine and beer. Nice idea!!

Was there on a Wednesday and the service was much better than the last time I was there. Would recommend this place

I loved the food,affordable and the good service. I can recommend this with my friends & relatives. I had dinner with my sister in law that celebrated her birthday, the place nearest our place accessible even by tricycle or just walking.Hope someone will invite me again next time....

We had enjoyed our dinner here last night. The food was great specially the Bagnet, Classic Kare-kare,Bangus sisig and the pumpkin soup for our baby. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. However the Lomi was quite ordinary for me and there was no high chair for our baby. Still we will give this quaint resto a positive rating, will recommend to friends, and will visit soon..

Yesterday we had our lunch and food was great. Service was okay. The only problem was you did not give us a 20% Sr. discount for a regular priced dish. You only gave a 10% discount. Why?

Its my first time at Antonio J. The food were really great.. its price satisfactions.. I really like kare kare.. but at Antonio J. I never expected the taste of that kind of dishes.. more on sinigang na suahe and pork sisig.. I can't wait to try it again.

We went there last night to celebrate mothers day and we were treated nicely by the staff. we ordered 2sets of family bundles and we did not wait too long for the food. Im not so particular wothbthe food but my parents liked them all. So I guess they were all good. overall we had a pleasant experience. Keep it up!!

The food was good... But I had the worst customer service experience... We were celebrating but the bill was handed over to us without us asking for it. We felt we were asked to leave. Tsk!

The food is great. Price is reasonable. Ambiance is ok too. I'll try to go back again to try their other house specialties.
