Review Mcdonald's - Gatineau

I have to say that reviewing most restaurant/fast food places is difficult these days as they're most often understaffed. This place didn't get a 5 star because I had to wait for so long to get my food. I didn't order anything super complicated, and I presume it was the nuggets that caused the delay but still not that fast! They also forgot the fork for my poutine so that's really why they didn't get a 5 across the board. The food was good quality, the service pleasant but honestly not as fast as other locations that I'm used to.

This McDonald's is 100× better than the ones we have in Ontario. The food is better, they put more toppings on everything, and the service is better. The only downside is that their English isn't very good for being just across the Ontario/Quebec boarder and the menus are entirely in french. If you have no French language skills, I recommend downloading a translate app to navigate the order kiosk. I took off 1 star for atmosphere because although the location is clean and looks taken care of, it's still just a McDonald's. There's nothing wrong with it in particular but it's not 5 stars either.

I went on a Sunday morning and this place is packed to the gills with people. The staff is good at accommodating such craziness. Great job

I've been here a number of times with my family. The food is really good and in fact better than most McDonald's especially in the presentation. However, the service never ceases to disappoint me. The last time I was here it took over 30 minutes to get our food and it's not that the were swamped either. The problem sadly is that the staff is busier talking then they are working. Also, they made 3 mistakes with our order and though they remedied them it just made everything take even longer. All in all of you can go elsewhere, perhaps you should.

We got takeout from here from here tonight. There was no lineups. Great service! I ordered a large ice coffee with a junior chicken with a hot fudge sundae. It was delicious.

We were looking for breakfast and after seeing some free parking spots close to the door, we decided to go. The cashier was very polite and friendly. I should have asked for his name, because he fast and calmly took our order. I appreciated the fact that he was bilingual, as he took the order in English from my wife and myself, and in French from my daughter. He also politely adviced us on getting our food delivered to the table. The wait was minimal and the complicated large order (yes, our bad) was ready in a few minutes. Staff was efficient, polite and charming! We will see you guys soon!!!

This place is better than the ones In Farm point Chelsea, The fries... very little portions that looks more for a kids meal.
