GATINEAU BEST KEPT SECRET! Today a friend invited me to visit "Bistro Alégria" . I'm really impressed!!! The place is cozy, inviting, elegant , casual, laid back atmosphere. The service is just great, very professional, friendly, helpful, they make you feel at home right away. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, prices are very reasonable. The washrooms are spotless. I would highly recommend this place. Wish I could give it more stars! Congratulations!!!

I really enjoyed this place . From beginning to end , food was fresh and tasty . Everything was really well served and the staff was amazing . I love the diversity of food they offer, so many great choices. I find their prices very reasonable for what you get . A place worth visiting !!!

Such an amazing experience. The staff here are very helpful and have great vibes. Also, don't know how often it occurs, but they had live music tonight (Saturday) and it was really nice. The singer is really good! The food is also delicious and there's a wide variety. Highly suggest the empanadas

Alegria is a cozy restaurant where you will experience a pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and unique customer service. The mojito and sangria are my favorite drinks. Paella is definitely the best dish. I love this place 😋❤️

Very friendly staff and delicious appetizers and main courses. They have a nice selection of specialty drinks - ask the server. We also enjoyed some musical entertainment and will be back!

Only problem we had was with bar. Had no idea how to make a caipirinha even though it was Brazilian band night...reason we went...there was club soda in caipirinha, was watery and tasted like a mojito pop minus the mint and the rum! 🤔🤨😏😉

I have been looking for a good Latino restaurant since I moved to Ottawa from Colombia for 19 yrs. I finally found it! Delicious food, authentic with a great combo of different Latino countries, great atmosphere, beautiful presentation and fair prices/ portions. Friendly staff, and good Covid measures in place, I saw them cleaning and it felt very safe. I will definitely be back. Muchas, muchas gracias!

Hidden gem in old hull.
Prior to temporary closure, this is the one place I'd bring friend yo on the QC side.
Food is delicious and their drinks (Margaritas and mimosas) were to die for. Price range is middle but decent.

Wasn't sure what yo expect when I walked walked in, it wasn't very busy.
I ordered the fish and chips and it was delicious. Not your average fish and chips!
Staff were all very nice and helpful. The chef came out to make sure everyone was enjoying.
