Review Scores - Gatineau

Awesome location. My first time there, and the host and server were awesome ,food was delicious with a good menu with a variety of selections, and the service was efficient and fast. I will definitely recommend it if you have never been or want to try delicious food for affordable price

I came here with my mom. We don’t speak any French. Our server was accommodating, kind and lovely. We ordered the salad bar and I forgot how good it is! I haven’t eaten at a scores since 2010. The chili and toppings was my favourite. I won’t include any pictures of the absolute mess I made of cheese but it was delicious and the fresh fruit options were just that, fresh. Staff came to monitor and change buffet items frequently which was nice to see. The buffet was tidy and stocked well. Server brought me multiple refills. It was a nice experience to have a staff who is so attentive. I can’t wait to go back and build several plates of nachos and salad again!

Lola was our server and she was a delight! Our food was delicious and served quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. We will definitely visit again the next time we travel to Quebec!

The lady who served us was amazing! That service combined with good food is a receipt for happiness. We picked the portugaise chicken which was good. Personally was not a fan of the side sauces but my friend liked the original sauce not the spicy one. Would definitely go back.

The food was hot and fresh. Finally found a good waiter, who was respectful of the fact that we spoke English. Very patient and helpful in guiding me to choose a delicious dish. Enjoyed my time with my sister there. We will definitely be back.

Food is good, large portions. Service is excellent. However some of the seats needs cleaning or replacement.

The food was great and the beer was cold. Fast service too. I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to all my friends in the USA. The people was friendly and spoke good English.

This branch has a great atmosphere and super service with a fantastic staff.. The only thing is that the roasted chicken is not what it used to be in Scores (NOT only this branch, but unfortunately it became a trend across a lot of other Scores branches since 2017), despite that, I still enjoy going to Scores... The salad and soup bar is fantastic as usual even though it is not free with the main order as it used to be, but that is ok and I hope they freeze the price for a long term.. Finally, I would like to thank the staff and the manager for their great service... Keep it up

Delicious meals, if you come be aware that meals are fairly large and suggest not getting the salad bar if you aren't planning on eating lots

I rate this restaurant and chain 2nd behind St. Hubert. The prices are good and the bonus is the salad bar. I alway sfind the chicken dryer than St Hubert. However it is a good restaurant just not worthy of a 5 star rating. The ribs are good here. The service is hit and miss

The prices on the salad bar has gone up quite a bit, still great soups, chilli, nacho sauce, lots of choices for salads

I have a new found love for Scores - the food is absolutely amazing! The portions are a perfect size and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of your meal. The restaurant is beautiful and the all you can eat soup and salad bar has a great selection to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. Gatineau is very lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in the heart of the city.

we were not expecting fine dining but dinner was still disappointing. Ordinary food with bad service. Plates were dirty as were the bathrooms. prices are similar to the competition. wont go back

Super bon manger mais ........ J'aime bcpanger chez Scores, mais le service apres 1 Hr pm c'est pas fameux. Ma Serveuse Janique parle tous le temps avec la fille derriere le bar avec tres peut d'attention envert les clients. Ont dois se lever et aller chercher la serveuse nous meme pour avoir du service , sinon faut attendre que leur discussion soi fini. Je mange au Scores au moin 2 fois semaine, j'adore leur manger . Je commence a penser d'aller manger dans un autre resto ou les serveuses sont attentioné a leur client. Triste ......

Not fine dining but beats the competition. Of course Scores is not fine dining, it's a family restaurant like St-Hubert and Swiss Chalet. However, in my opinion it beats both of these when it comes to quality of food (love the chicken and ribs), service and price. The salad bar is a great idea and gives you lots of food for your $ (especially when included with your meal). While chain restaurants are supposed to have the same quality of food at all their franchises, some Scores are better than others. I have been to 3 and this one is the best.

Vraiment ordinaire. Nous sommes allés pour la première fois il y a quelques semaines, et on s'attendait à un genre d'imitation de St-Hubert. Ç'en est une, mais ratée. Le poulet est sec et vraiment petit. La salade est fade. La sauce goûte la sauce en canne. Les desserts goûtent cheap. Le service est expéditif. Le pire, c'est que ça m'a semblé plus cher que St-Hub. Bref, cette première fois est aussi la dernière...

Pretty good. The chicken and the ribs are really good. I don't care for their sauce (St-Hubert's sauce is alot better). The fries are frozen (to be expected for a chain restaurant). Service is hit or miss. Went twice, first time service was good, second time it was the opposite. Dessert brownie was disappointing. Salad bar is ok, but I don't eat that much salad or soup with a meal so it's not worth it for me (although I took it the first time). I still prefer St-Hubert to this place.
