I was here for a martial arts conference. Venue was great and the hospitality team seemed well organized. We ate at the event buffet style. Food was hot, tasty and had good presentation. On our first night we attended a kickboxing match they served beer and alcohol durring the event. They did not have enough staff on to accommodate all the thirsty martial artists. I would say this a great spot to hold your event.
Lunch at Adonis Express was delicious! Both chicken and beef were tasty, but the portion size was huge! Only get the large if you have someone to share with or you've already started chewing on your own arm. $16 for large plus can soda.
I came here for the GAnime convention this weekend! First day completed and had lots of fun with me and my friends.bstafg are kind, lots of cosplayers (experienced and amateur), good food and great way to use the space for something mellow and retro (they set up a game room so you could play a bunch of video games and dance games... I won a lot and lost alot haha). 10/10 would recommend!
Good spot to be. Good variety of restaurants. This week, the mall was offering free calendars. Personally I think that's nice becaude a calendar can be hand and good to have even though it's March already.
The place is clean and staff members usually walk around looking for spots to clean.
Some stores are closing though and it's a shame because there is usually a lot of people there at lunch time.
Hub of the Downtown government buildings. Has so much more potential than what is is but the population is too far away to actually expand this mall. You find the basic stuff, they have a lot of coffee spots but these are only open during the week day, and when events are happening in the center. Going through some renovations and landscaping... Maybe there will be a fifth star!!
In previous settings it was conveniently close to work with essential shops and restaurants. It's only partially operational these days, half the restaurants are open. If the pandemic last long enough I bet there will be transformation for housing that will bring a second Life to this mall.
A relatively small shopping centre with an outstanding food court. The attached government offices have nourished this food court for decades. Most seats are taken during lunch hour. The food court has a broad variety of coffee shops, fast food, excellent buffet style restaurants, and ethnic food varieties. The attached parking garage is always absolutely full throughout the work day, and parking in the local neighbourhood to the north is a horror show. Nearest reliable parking is a five minute walk away at the Canadian Museum of History, formerly Civilization.
I was there around lunch time so the food court was busy, but the shop keepers, although also busy, took the time to help me find what I was looking for. There's a good variety of shops for a mini mall in an office building.
Mainly for Government workers, the "mall" has almost nothing in it now. food court has a decent selection.
A small shopping mall with a foot court. Open during business hours only since this is largely a federal and provincial government offices complexe. Literally nothing is open after 6pm.
Standard foot court. Decent selection, sushi, chinese, Subway, mexican, thai, burger/hot dogs, cultures, star bucks, tim hortons, jugo juice. The place is only open during business hours, after like 2-3pm, ghost town and almost everything is closed.
