Have been 3 times now and was amazed all 3 times! For pho soupe lovers, the beef brought takes 10hours to simmer and is astonishingly delicious and fresh. The Pad Thai has a little "je ne sais quoi" flavor that kept me wondering between every bite! And the deserts... Well the "homemade Cassava cake" is a warm, moist and flyffy coconut flavored ball of softness and is so satisfying during a windy day! The chef will come to the table and talk about his recepies and some history about the meal. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the Gatineau/Ottawa region!
Amazing food! The portions are large and the food is delectable! I ordered the steak and it was so tender and juicy! My friends tried the chicken karage, the seafood bowl and the teriyaki salmon. Everyone loved their food and truly enjoyed a really well priced meal! The desserts really capped the dinner off well! We had fried banana and the cassava cake... so beautifully presented... and so SO delicious. I can't wait to come back!!
We were visiting from out of town and this place was close to our air bnb. What a great find! The owner is the cook, server et all so be prepared for a bit of a wait but it’s definitely worth it. Incredibly creative dishes home made with fresh ingredients at a very reasonable price. We ate in but there were lots of pick up so the locals like it as well.
