Have been 3 times now and was amazed all 3 times!
For pho soupe lovers, the beef brought takes 10hours to simmer and is astonishingly delicious and fresh.
The Pad Thai has a little "je ne sais quoi" flavor that kept me wondering between every bite!
And the deserts... Well the "homemade Cassava cake" is a warm, moist and flyffy coconut flavored ball of softness and is so satisfying during a windy day!
The chef will come to the table and talk about his recepies and some history about the meal.
Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the Gatineau/Ottawa region!
Amazing food! The portions are large and the food is delectable! I ordered the steak and it was so tender and juicy! My friends tried the chicken karage, the seafood bowl and the teriyaki salmon. Everyone loved their food and truly enjoyed a really well priced meal!
The desserts really capped the dinner off well! We had fried banana and the cassava cake... so beautifully presented... and so SO delicious. I can't wait to come back!!

The owner is the cook, server et all so be prepared for a bit of a wait but it’s definitely worth it.

I want to put 3.5 stars, but that is not an option. Good portions for the price, but my lemon chicken was dry, and the sauce was a mess of over-reduced lemon sauce with too much binder (probably cornstarch).
The chicken fried rice had a lot of chicken, but no hot oil or scallions, and had too much breath of wok (was a bit too charred for my taste)
Otherwise, again, great bang for your buck, friendly staff.
I went to Orchidee because I was sick and really wanted some soup. The service was excellent and the whole experience was very nice. The man who took my order picked up on my being sick and asked if I'd like some sliced ginger in my chicken soup. It was delicious and helped me feel better, they also served me some tea while I waited for my order, which was another thoughtful touch. They definitely went above and beyond.
One of the best Asian food delivery joint in town! The Peanut Sauce Chicken is absolutely delicious, Fried Noodles and their Gyoza are to die for and their Pad Thai is the best i ever had delivered at my door. I order from The Orchidée at least twice a month and it was never a let down. Thank you guys!

This hidden gem of a restaurant is hands down the best Asian Fusion restaurant in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the decor is inviting, and the food continues to impress me after numerous visits. Lunch and main dishes are served with the best wonton soup I've ever had. Try the fried banana!
Interesting dishes that tasted great, service treated me well. The main menu is good to take family or friends out to dinner, and the fried rice menu is budget calories for when you just don't want to cook.
I've eaten alot of tonkinese soups & a truck ton of pho soup in the recent years and the rare beef & flank soup is amazing !!! Broth is made by chef & it shows in the taste. 10/10 would recommend to friends. Also, amazing staff ! Best soup i had in years.
