This place is amazing! Old Hull really needed an option like this. I live nearby and go about once a week. It's a good place to go when I haven't gotten around to doing groceries, if I don't feel like making food, or if I want to get out of the house a bit. The owner is a wonderful person; her Buddha bowls are delicious, her vinaigrettes are awesome, the desserts are always out of this world, and the soups are comforting. I love how vegetarian/vegan friendly the options are, and that you can buy cold-pressed juice! The decor is endearing, wonderful place to spend the afternoon eating and reading (two of my favourite things)! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a healthier option in the area.

The variety is amazing and portions are huge. I enjoyed a Buddha bowl with falafel. It was so filling I couldn't eat any dessert or have bubble tea. The staff was patient with our large party of Choux-choux newbies even though we lingered a little past closing. Thanks for a great time. Definitely visiting again as soon at I can. Maybe I'll get the homemade dessert first next time

Great salads that you build like a subway sandwich (except with fresher and healthier ingredients). The owner was pretty crabby when we arrived, but lightened up later and did her best to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Would return for the fresh baked goods! Gluten-free and vegan options included.

I have nothing but good things to say about Choux choux. I got a base of cabbage, arugula, and kale, then I piled on every vegetable I wanted and protein. They didn't charge extra if you took more than 1 protein which was really nice. Everything tasted so fresh and wonderful. The lineup was crazy, piling up outside but they serve very quickly and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I also got a smoothie, I recommend the pineapple, coconut, peach with orange juice. Decent price, it ended up costing me $17 for a big salad and smoothie. They had all sorts of amazing looking desserts but didn't want to splurge. I've never seen a place serve heirloom carrots, I was pleasantly surprised. Also the chicken tasted fresh as well. Nothing in my salad tasted like it had sat a while, it all tasted like they had just cut it up and ready to go.

Loved my Buddha Bowl. Friendly service, fresh food, and most importantly it is very reasonably priced. The portion is very large and satisfying and you can pick as many veggies as you want. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden little gem of a restaurant...The salad choices will suit any taste. The ingredients are always fresh, the salad portions are large so you won't be hungry when you are done...and the deserts, well you can't go wrong with anything they have available...it is all tasty.. And finally the staff, and owner who is always there, are wonderful. My favorite lunch time stop.

Great spot for salad. Wide selection of ingredients which drives colleagues envious everytime I bring one back! Choose your base (grains and or greens), proteins (chicken, chickpeas, cheese, etc) load up on veggies, grains and other toppings. Many dressing options! 11$/salad, very filling! They also have homemade cakes that look amazing but never tried them Coffee machine on site for lattes as well.

Great options for salad, for both vegetarians and omnivores. Expect large portions of fresh vegetables. There is some seating available, but the restaurant gets busy and filled up by 11:45 am or so. Good options for catering too.

Deliciously FRESH! Pick your own contents - buffet style. Can add tofu, seeds, nutritional toppings. A really great healthy option around the Portage area. Beats the Portage food court and surrounding greasy spoons (depending on your taste of course). Worth a try.

Original concept/ and cute small joint. New spin on salad and vegetarian options along with good coffee and bites. A little pricey for salad if you ask me, but that's how it goes. Definitely should try!
