I don't have anything negative to say. the most notable things: 1.They were the best margaritas I have had in Gatineau. 2.The waiter was really friendly and efficient, considering he was practically the only one in the restaurant for all the tables. 3.The view is very nice since the restaurant is facing the river. 4.I always pay attention to the condition of the bathrooms and I have to say that the bathrooms looked really clean and had a pleasant smell. we enjoyed the visit to the restaurant

We stopped by during a boat ride and it was a great experience. Many “parking spots” for the boat. Very friendly staff. The food was good and the atmosphere is really nice. We couldn’t stay for the fireworks, but it looks like it is a great place to see it.

We appreciated our waitress for the service and being attentive to our orders. On a hot day in the Summer like today, ice cold beer was much needed and refreshing. Nachos added the flavour. Location by the Ottawa River was a plus and live music made it a nice touch to the atmosphere too.

We had a blast! The decor is so cool and the owners are very nice. Can’t get a better view then this place. Right by the water and so much to look at. Spoke to both owners as they were working the floor, both super nice ppl. We felt very welcomed. Most importantly the FOOD is DELICIOUS! Certainly going back.

Relaxing in this cafe, you are like on a pirate schooner. Amazing interior... Great view of the river. Polite and caring waiters. Fast food service. Delicious and not expensive.

We went for dinner here tonight and shared the nachos with chicken and the calamari. The calamari was very good and the nachos were good. They put the salsa directly on the nachos which made them pretty soggy. But they made a very good spicy caesar and we had a slice of pecan pie and sugar pie for dessert and they were delicious. Overall, the excellent service by Amelie made up for the soggy nachos and we'll definitely be back. Important to note, if you want to sit on the patio, make sure to make a reservation.

Lovely terrace area with some live music in the evenings with a great view of the river in front. They have a great selection of cocktails and drinks. The food menu is a little limited but the salmon is always good. Expect to wait a little for dinner since it is quite a popular place.

July 18, 2021 A fantastic riverside restaurant! The seafood was quite delicious, especially the shrimp. The only negative that I should share was that we went during peak dinner time, and the kitchen was quite backed up. We did have to wait a little too long. However, with decently-priced drinks, excellent service and a beautiful view, this place has it all. A strong reccomend for fish-lovers at heart!

I’ve been here several times now and never been disappointed with the food. Servers have always been fantastic and friendly. Great waterfront location with view of the water. Fun pirate theme with large section of virgin cocktail options.

The staff and the menu selections are all great. The cooks need to be thanked for providing such delicious meals. Truly a great place. Oh and the music . Fun times. Float right up to the Docks provided by the restaurant so COOL.

The best fish and chips I've had in a long long time. What makes it good is the whole filet used, you really get fish, unlike other places where you need to search for the fish among the batter. The batter was good, although not fluffy but rather flat and seemed a bit overcooked - there was a layer of uncooked batter against the fish. They can surely come up with a better batter recipe than cap'n highliner fish in a box. The price is a bit on the high side especially that the fries are few, and are frozen pre-made (probably Costco); the coleslaw came in a covered plastic receptacle as did the sauce. This fast food-truck like presentation of the plate does not warrant 23$ + drinks and tip. We also ordered a virgin mojito which was basically soda water or sprite with a few mint leaves and a slice of lemon, very sweet so there might have been some store bought syrup in it. This costs 6$ - a bit much for something slapped together without much care. The highlight was the service. Our server was fast, attentive, and polite. I'll probably go again, but not in the near future.

Had lunch at Le Pirate today with a friend. She had the smoked meat sandwich which was made with fresh rye bread, great fries and a generous glass of Pinot Grigio. I had the chicken quesadilla which had a nice kick, with the fries and also a generous glass of Pinot Noir. Food was warm and tasty. Our server Agathe was fantastic, attentive and very organized considering she was alone today. Well done. We saw many people having the soup of the day (squash and pumpkin) and they raved about it. Will not hesitate to return. The weather was fabulous, with a great view of the river. Merci!!!

Food was delicious! We had the chicken quesadilla and Italian poutine. Service took a while though. They need more hands on deck.
