We had a very good experience at Chez Le Thai. The menu has changed and the prices have gone up since I last come here, but the food is much tastier. We had a few different dishes, and they were all super fresh and the quality was good! It is hard to find a place that uses good ingredients. The only comment I have is that there was only one server for the entire place and the Tom Yam can be improved a little.

Arrived at 8pm, only 2 other tables occupied. The seating area is cozy and the decor is very nice. Ordered the dinner set for 2 and everything was very tasty and plentiful. Each dish was precisely flavored and spiced uniquely. Our waiter Simon was excellent and timed the courses perfectly. This deserves one of my rare 5 star reviews. Definitely will repeat if in the area again.

We arrived a bit later at night into Gatineau. Quickly googled Thai food and this little place came up and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent. We had the dinner for two. Amazing tastes..service was fabulous. Simon was a great and friendly server.we had a beautiful dinner for 2. The only think I would do differently nect time is to order the veggie stir fry without tofu. There will be a next time. ❤

We landed up here on a cold summer Saturday evening and had the best Thai food ever. Amazingly gracious hosts. Definately recommend the mango sticky rice..

I've only been for takeout or dinner; I understand that the lunch menu is more limited. Their coconut curry is the best in on either side of the river. I get the gaeng khoir curry and it is thick and flavourful, not soupy like many other places. I find their pad Thai too sweet and don't care for it, but the fresh spring rolls and coconut soup are very tasty. 5 stars because it's THE place I go for Thai curry. Never had problems with the service or my order.
