We had a wonderful time at Chez Clemence (so much that we came back 2 days later). We were attracted by the French flag hanging outside and were happily surprised to find a charming creperie. We had savoury and sweet crepes. Both were really tasty and filling. Presentation was exquisite. At the end of the meal, Chef Noel came to check on us and see if we had a good time. Was great to chat with him.
And to top it all, it was kid friendly. Our 18 months daugther really enjoyed her experience as well.
Having travelled extensively in my life I know when I've found an amazing food spot. This is one of them. This can hold its own against any creperie in France. I hope residents in the area discover this place. Truly a hidden gem.
Delight ambiance. Noel, the chef and owner is very kind and friendly. We tried 3 crepes and loved them all.
Very nice and clean establishment! The food is good. I will most definitely return.
For reference, I ate the Normande and raspberry crepes on my visit here today. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures to share as I had no intentions of writing a review when I went to dinner today.
The chef is very friendly, and humoured me as I tried to practice my broken french. Both crepes I tried were delicious and very well presented, a testament to his skill and passion as a chef. One small point that proved to me how passionate he is was when he insisted that I receive new cutlery between crepes to avoid cross contaminating the flavours. I have been to many crepe restaurants (within Canada) and none can match the overall quality of this one.
I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family for a long time to come.
It was so delish! I cannot wait to go back and try the whole menu bit by bit. I can tell they use quality fresh ingredients and high quality oil (if any) unlike many restaurants. Much healthier.
This is my new place. Everything was good. Wish you had parking could bring a lot more people.
