Had a very good lunch here. Service was good and good was as well. My wife and I split the chicken club sandwich with fries and the chicken kabob with rice, home style potatoes, and a small salad. The atmosphere, lighting and food was quite good. Alex, the waiter who served us was very friendly. However, the girl who received us and placed us at a table was not kind or friendly.
The price is a little above average compared to restaurants that offer breakfast but the food is worth it.
First of all, it's a diner so I don't think this is like any other restaurant I rate. But I've been here with my children twice now, and the service has been exceptional both times. It's a standard diner, if you like any good diner, you'll like this one. But why I'm coming back again is the staff.

I had an awesome dinner here with my boys. The food was great. The server was very very nice and she made some good recommendations. Have any of their salads. Super filling. Burgers were amazing and my youngest son ate a big meal for under 10$. We will go back for sure.
Stopped here with family and friends. Had the smoke meat sandwich with poutine and it was a huge portion. Everyone in our group tried it and we were very satisfied with friendly staff and food. Highly recommended.
Service and food was very good and not expensive. I had their smoke meat platter, my husband had the General Thao and daughter had the pizza and we were all satisfied with our meal.
We visited Nickels Deli Gatineau for breakfast I had the Philly Steak Eggs Benedict and converted the breakfast potatoes into Poutine with Hollandaise sauce and a side of sausage. Good food, nice atmosphere and good service. Smoked meat sandwich and steak with shrimp was delicious! Celine chocolate cake is gigantic!

The service was ok, was pretty busy at the time. What I was not impressed by was one of the special was steak and shrimp, we did receive delicious shrimp we did not get steak, we got pieces of beef in a gravy. We were disappointed but we are not people who complain. It was tasty but not steak.
