Hands down, the best Thai food in Ottawa-Gatineau! Well worth a visit. Plenty of variety and with the a la carte buffet, you can sample several dishes. The service is excellent. The Pad Thai is my favorite but so are many other dishes. Plenty of veggie options as well.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Maison Smorn in Gatineau, Quebec, based on a friend's recommendation. This charming little restaurant, with a seating capacity for approximately 30 people, immediately captured our hearts. We decided to indulge in the all-you-can-eat menu, priced at $45 per person, and we were not disappointed. The menu boasted an extensive selection of dishes, and we eagerly ventured into a delightful gastronomic journey. From the very first bite, we knew we had stumbled upon something extraordinary. The food at La Maison Smorn is simply outstanding. Each dish we tried surpassed our expectations, leaving us craving for more. The flavors were perfectly balanced, showcasing the skillful mastery of the chefs. What truly enhanced our experience was the impeccable service provided by the waitstaff. They were not only attentive and professional but also infused the atmosphere with a delightful sense of humor. The warmth and friendliness of the staff created a welcoming and relaxed ambiance, making us feel right at home. During our visit, we had the pleasure of savoring a variety of dishes that awakened our taste buds. The TOM KHA GOONG, with its aromatic blend of spices and succulent shrimp, delighted our senses. The crispy and flavorful POA PIA GOONG TOD left us wanting more, while the Chicken Skewers SATAY offered a tantalizing combination of tender meat and delectable sauces. The PAD GA PRAO MA KUA YAO, PAD KHING, TOD KRATIEM PRIK THAI, and PAD NEUA TRA KHI showcased the culinary expertise of La Maison Smorn, each dish exuding its unique flavors and textures. And, of course, we couldn't resist indulging in the classic Pad Thai Chicken with veggies, which satisfied our cravings for this beloved Thai staple. In conclusion, our visit to La Maison Smorn was a remarkable experience that we will cherish for years to come. The exceptional food, combined with the exceptional service and cozy atmosphere, made our evening truly unforgettable. It doesn't look like much but the food and service were incredible! Friendly staff who welcomed us even though it was close to closing. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Best of all, not too salty which is often the case with Thai food. Definitely recommend.

I’ve never tasted pad Thai and curry anywhere else that’s this amazing! Everything is so flavourful and the pad Thai was perfect, not too dry and not liquidy. I am obsessed with this place, I can eat there food everyday. I definitely recommend this place!! The atmosphere is also really romantic/classy and nice vibes too!

Service is excellent every time, the atmosphere provides a nice chill vibe and the food is authentic, and soooo good. We tried every dishes they had and they were all out of this world. I recommend 100%.
