The Chef /manager is a tremendous cook. I've been cooking for 42 years now and have learned over the years that if you have a cook's position and you can't make soup, sauce or gravy, don't call yourself a cook. Melissa is the Chef manager and she can do all of the above. Her gravy, that I had, Monday at dinner, was "drinkable." I'll be back over and over again! Quality food and very reasonable prices!

Stopped here for lunch and had had the country breakfast which was delicious! Our waitress was terrifically very friendly even though she was busy. Great place to grab a good meal!

Had tomato basil sausage breakfast, very good, perfectly cooked. Service was great. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, entryway crowded while entering but understand it can be difficult with a small entryway. My sister had a steak and it was under done, but was replaced with a smile and a free desert. Overall a good visit and look forward to our next meal.

My bf and i decided to go for a drive and give this place a try and we were so glad we did. The prices are very affordable, we had 3 adults meals and a side meal and paid less than $40. Hubby got the country breakfast and was surprised when a heaping plate came out, he couldnt even finish it all but loved it. I had the hot turkey sandwich and it was amazing! The food is wonderful, tastes just like homecooked food you'd find at your mothers dinner table. service is wonderful and atmosphere is cozy and quiet. We will definitely be going again:)

16 of us came there today for breakfast and wow it was delicious. All 16 of us were waited on and all had our food and out within an hour. To the cook wow you did awesome on the cooking and getting everything out on the tables in a short time. To the waiter you also did an awesome job on taking and keeping track of who ordered what i don't think there was any mix up. Thank you.

Poorest restaurant. Yesterday thrus feb 26 my wife and i drove to the douglas diner thinking we would have a bowl of soup and a roll. Well thats what we ordered and thqats whaqt we got, soup was suppose to be chicken and rice. the soup stank so bad we couldnt eat it and the rolls if thats what they were were so dry u couldnt eat them. When the little girl ask us about lunch and we told her she gave us a 10% discount whoopie, First time i been there and will be the last floors hadnt been vacuumed for days where are the healinspectors?
