Excellent food and very friendly service. The butter chicken is VERY good, but then so is the club sandwich. The oven pizza is perfect and *easily* better than takeout.
I've been to Ash's several times so there's clearly a pattern: unusually good food and great service.
Amazing food and service. We had a large party approximately 13 people and the service was fast and friendly. I wish I had the chance to grab a photo of my meal but the fish and chips was amazing. The breading on the fish was light and crispy, and everything was fresh and you could tell the owner Ash puts a lot of heart into his food. I recommend the onion rings, or the fish tacos (which had a spicy fresh salsa on top), and the fish and chips. The server who was working was so patient with our group (we had several children), and provided a wonderful experience for us. If you are travelling thru Forest, ON or if you live in the area to stop by and enjoy a meal here.
Renamed Barking Forest under new management. Good for a family meal or having a drink after work at the bar. We had Fish and Chips and it was very nice.
Greatest place to eat anywhere around!! The staff are always friendly and the food is excellent with fast service.

Visit August, 2019 Breakfast for four. Owner friendly, staff professional. Breakfast was reasonably priced and tasty. Coffee was particularly nice.
This restaurant is now called Barking Forest. They changed the inside some. Looks good! The menu has changed and it's good pub food. I'd say it's less of a diner now...more like a pub...prices are a bit higher...but I think the food is better.
Friday Fish and Chips is our Fave! This place has become our "go to"! The atmosphere here is so relaxed and friendly...I think it's because of Jen, one of the waitresses. She is great! So fun! You'll know her when you hear her!
