The ice cream was fantastic. We tried the honey comb and the huckleberry. Both were really great. Local ingredients, locally made... can't beat that.

The best ice cream place by far. The ice cream is perfect the place is clean and the service is friendly. The ice cream sandwich is a must have. Coffee ice cream, cinnamon, and tres leches were all great.

WOW. I don't normally go out of my way to get ice cream, but our white water rafting guide suggested we go. BIG THANKS to Gord! BEST IDEA EVER. Lemon ice cream was amazing and very refreshing. Also grabbed a scoop of the caramel fudge - to die for.

Defiantly a must if you're in Fernie

Happy Cow. Great cones and ice cream. Went to Happy Cow in Fernie on Sunday. We really liked the way they display their cakes, and other bakery goods. Not a huge fan of a pink and blue scheme but this place really looks great. They really paid attention to all the details so everything looks fresh and co-ordianted. A nice atmosphere.
We each had double scoops of ice cream. I had mango and creamsicle. My friend had a double chocolate cherry. The ice cream was fresh and I was thrilled that they actually make it there. $16.80. You can watch the process if you wish. Some selections, like blueberry are made with fresh blueberries etc.
What was really good were the waffle cones. They actually make them on site and they are amazing. Chocolate and regular. Ill go back just for the cones.
They have fresh bakery treats that all looked awesome. The cakes etc. are really cute. I haven't tried any of the bakery items but I am looking forward to it.
The owners are super friendly and willing to answer all your questions. A very pleasant experience all round.
