We stopped at the country diner for lunch. The service was excellent. I ordered the BLT with homemade split peace soup. My son ordered the nuggets and fries they were not so good but what can you do. The homemade soup and delicious sandwich made up for any shortcomings. I will come back again and try this homemade lunch.
My husband and I are new to town and decided to try out this quaint little restaurant as we both love a home cooked breakfast. We were both so impressed by the quality of food, the friendly service and the amazing prices. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I love this quaint little spot in the heart of the very lovely town of Elmvale ON.We were able to have a very special 70th Birthday party for my sister who depends on a wheelchair, so happy that they are accessible. Todd has a back dining area that is private and cozy for get togethers, so I was very excited that after a few years of covid that we were able to celebrate my beautiful sister ,and to have access with herwheelchair.We had a party of ten and it was nice to be able to catch up with each other and enjoy some delicious choices from the menu. Food was so good and fresh and lots of it. Service was outstanding and we were sure well taken care of.. Todd made us feel very welcomed.We got a delicious home made pie to take out for some dear friends and they loved it. I want to thank Todd and his staff for giving us the best day we had in a very long time. .
My daughter and I returned for a late Mothers Day lunch today.It was yummy and so fresh. This little gem in Elmvale is our " To Go^ place .Great food, great conversation and great prices..You will not be disappointed! Thankyou to Todd and Staff at the Country Diner
A little gem in the heart of Elmvale. Staying in Horseshoe Valley worth the 20 minute drive. The breakfast Quesadea was amazing as the rest of our breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Would recommend for families.
Food is scrumptious and portions are generous. Menu is loaded with fresh homemade specials to feed your hunger. Enjoy the Eggs Benny & hearty soups. Prices are kind on your wallet. Meals are served with a smile! A devoted community minded business.
Fantastic food, like going home and having your favourite home cooked meal, but at a restaurant. Breakfast is phenomenal! Great staff and customer service!!
