My first impression of this place: lackluster.
The place is small. I mean SMALL. Maybe holds 20 people max. But the aroma immediately made up for the appearance.
When the food actually came, I was too impressed. I wasn't expecting such food from such a small place. I had the ginger beef, and let me tell you, I've never had a plate of ginger beef remain crispy throughout a 40 minute meal. As well, the flavor of the Kung Pao chicken was amazing. I will definitely be going back soon. Truly a "don't judge a book by its cover" discovery.
As a Chinese, I highly recommend this place. Their taste are very good (if u order the dishes from chinese menu), and price are in an acceptable value. I almost go there twice a month. They have Chinese menu and English menu, these two menus are totally different. If u can eat spicy and wanna try real Chinese food, ask for Chinese menu and recommediation. Personally like ko shun chincken, and fu chi fei pian the most.
Good Taste is by far the best Chinese food that Edmonton has to offer. Everything is so fresh that it melts in your mouth. No need to try anything else but Good Taste. It is a hidden gem.
