Best donair we've had on the North side. Absolutely delicious. Meat is just how we like it spiced well and crispy edges along with the tzatziki & sweet sauces and the fresh veg. To die for. Their garlic wings were also amazing. Customer service was top notch. It was a steady stream of people and Skip the Dishes coming in while we were waiting to get our food. A good sign. Will definitely be returning. Well done #Eddie's Donair.
Somebody reminded me on instagram to try out Eddie's Donair. I pass by this place often but never thought of trying it although I've heard that their donairs are pretty good.
I tried the eddie's cheese donair (?) which comes spicy, and the super donair combo.
The spicy cheese donair was extremely spicy, as if it's doused with tabasco sauce.. plus banana peppers too. I doubt I'd order it again because it was way too spicy for me.
The super donair was good, at first I thought the sauce was a tad sweeter than I'd like, but after a while it grew on me and I really liked it. It also had the perfect amount of meat and veggies.
The fries didn't taste that good though, it wasn't fresh and was kinda "hard".
Overall, I would go back for the donair, but not the fries.
Service was friendly, the guy working at the time checked up on us at the end and asked if the spicy donair was too spicy haha!
The staff are friendly and the donairs are awesome!
They have recently done renovations to the dining area and it shows how much they care about the customer and their product.

In my continuing mission to sample every donair shop E-Town has to offer, Eddie's was a great find!
I would rank this anong my top 5.
As I approached the end of my Super cheese donair...I must confess I considered ordering a second. It was really good! The best place I have tried to date in the Northside.
~$13 for my Super with cheese and a bottle of H2O puts it on par with the competion. But the flavourfull meat and delicious sweet sauce (whitlch really stood out...though I can't put my finger on "why").
Very clean, modern shop with a great feel. Friendly helpfull staff. I was only a little dissapointed that the only other patron was clearly a friend of theirs, and I overheard a few f-bombs exchanged at the counter. Not very professional. I certainly hope that had their "audience" been different...their language would have been as well...but one never knows. As my kids were at home...I only cared because again...it's just not professional.
Anyways..."four letter words" asside...
What a great donair!
Rather than daring to day "best in town", I now pose to myself the question; "would I be happy if this were my local donair shop?"
And to answer...myself...
I wound not only be happy..I would be thrilled...and likely 50lbs heavier...
Went here late night because I was craving a donair. It was on the way home so I stopped in and order one. Damn it was so good. Huge donair! I usually go here or go to Swiss Donair for my donair cravings!
Friggin Yum!. Live this place. The food is consistently amazing. The people are nice. The atmosphere is grate. Family owned.
Love it. I love their donairs, and I've never had problems with service. I have many donair restaurants in my area but Eddies and swiss will always be my two favourite. Couldn't pick one over the other, and i love what Eddie did to the interior it looks great.
It ok.. Service is curt, no chit chat, which is fine with me.
Donaires are good, fresh veg, not too much sauce and not too greasy.
The burger are bad, bread and meat are dry.
Lots of meet and great dill sauce. Very good donairs if you stick to the originals.
Fressh. Good thing about this place is that they give alot for what u pay donair is always fresh and juicy! only bad thing i can say is their sweet sauce has to much vinegar
