Ok, really, stop complaining about the food. Your not going to get any hipster, organic, local. non GMO, gourmet, free range stuff here. It's all straight from the freezer, deep fried crap to fill up the teenagers from the near by schools. Don't even look at the menu. NO! don't do it!
The service is 'stoic' at best, don't expect any smiles, please or thank yous.
And bring cash!

Some of my fav flavors
Tiger, the orange is distinct and tangy, the licorice ripple is perfectly paired.
Strawberry, not some simple kiddy flavor, its rich and jam-my with chunks of candied strawberries.
Cafe Mocha, rich and complex flavor of real coffee, not some weird artificial junk.
Grape/orange/cream soda Floats, brilliant!, instead of putting the ice cream in the pop, they froze the pop and put in the ice cream! OMG!
I can go on and on...
Pa Peterson's is by no means the highest quality. Yes, it's small, dirty looking and hasn't changed since most of us went to the high schools right across the street. Yes, the poutine is made with the wrong cheese and the burgers are not made on site... BUT for some reason I crave it. A double mushroom burger with poutine and Pepsi slush... I can taste it already! It's comfort food. Period.
The only restaurant I know immune to inflation. It's been feeding broke ass students for years, and even haunts their dreams. The fries and gravy is the staple of anyone within 4 blocks of this restaurant. I believe it may be made of crushed ambrosia.
