I've been to Ninja Club a few times and I've always enjoyed the food there. Obviously, you can't compare the ramen here to ramen in bigger cities (i.e. Vancouver). Given the limited ramen places in Edmonton, it's pretty good. They also have sushi, sashimi, donburi and other small snacks. Restaurant is pretty small with limited seating so RSVP if you have a bigger group during busy times. Worth a try!
Personally enjoyed lunch at this place. Seems like a great place for students for Japanese ramen. Not a big fan of the maki rolls, as there was a too thick layer of rice that overpowered other ingredients to be tasted. Japanese ramen was good. Menu was hard to read as it was handwritten. Small and tightly spaced tables, but the food is well-priced and well-prepared.
I was skeptical of eating here because of the reviews but I wanted to give it a fair shot being that it's fairly new and that they are trying to make a name for themselves on Whyte Ave and stand out from the rest of the one hit wonders who eventually fizzle out.
I liked it! Now, I'm not a ramen connoisseur and Iv only had it once or twice but I do know good food and I have high standards when it comes to letting someone else cook my food and I pay them to do it.
I had the tantan ramen with a Japanese egg and beef. The broth was nicely seasoned with lots of flavor and a little spicy, the egg added the creamy factor and the noodles were chewy and cooked to my liking.
I'm glad I trekked through the snow to make it here because it was exactly what I was wanting! I'll be back and I may try some sushi...
THE RAMEN IS SO GOOD. Nomiya is no longer in the picture for me. This place has the best Ramen in the city. I always get the Tan Tan Ramen (if you want extra toppings you pay extra! Duh!) I mean earls charges you $3 for a slice of cheese. I highly recommend any Ramen but the other foods I wouldn't have high expectations if I ordered them.
Adore this place! It isn't much in terms of the interior, but after living in Japan I am comfortable saying this is the best authentic ramen in Edmonton. The owners are also very kind and always open to advice and criticisms; all they really want at the end of the day is for you to enjoy your food!
If you want a really authentic bowl of ramen, ask for them to make it heavy/authentic; they tone down the oil for our western palates, but ordering a bowl like this always reminds me of a late night bowl in Tokyo.

Good ramen. Tantan ramen was pretty good and only $12. better than most other ramen places in edmonton. place is very small but cozy; owners are quite friendly
Mmmm....Ramen!. Just tried Ninja Club for the first time last night and it was great! I had the Tantan ramen and, while originally it was a little bland, a quick dash of soy sauce and hot sauce made it absolutely delicious! The gyoza was amazing, as well, and the service was great - we had the sweetest server. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they have shark fin as part of their menu. =( Considering how horrific the shark finning industry is, I was really disheartened to see this at such a nice place; I hope they take it off the menu soon, for ethical reasons. Actually, I didn't even know it was legal to serve in Canada but I guess it is? Shame. Other than that one item, though, the place, service, and food were great and I'd highly recommend giving them a try! =)
Friendly service.. Sushi was delicious! Hand made when you order. I really liked the atmosphere; even though it's on Whyte ave it seems very local.
Nice Little Place. I came here on the weekend and tried the kimchi ramen which I enjoyed. I would like to come back and try some of the other ramens. The only problem I had is that their entrance door doesn't latch or close on its own. I was sitting by the door and I had to keep running to shut the door so I didn't freeze!
