This is hands down my go to place for Korean fried chicken. It is a great place to go anytime - whether it be lunch or a midnight snack. It is a great place to drink in the company of a few friends too. Their soju is not overpriced.
I typically order Combo C with soy garlic chicken. Did you know that you could substitute fries for rice at no extra charge? Now you do! The chicken is very well seasoned here. In comparison to SFC, the chicken here is crispier (which I do love very much) and the flavors are balanced well. Asides from chicken, their poutines are amazing. My favorites are the kimchi and bulgogi flavored ones!
The only downfall about this place is the limited seating. There are five tables total and sometimes there is nowhere to sit so I end up going elsewhere. This seems to be the case with all fried chicken places, however. The atmosphere isn’t very different from a typical late night diner, but it’s not terrible.
Overall, this place is definitely worth a try if you are interested in trying some Edmonton exclusive fried chicken!
Fun and unique place to eat, strange atmosphere but that’s part of the fun. Prices or great, open late if you want a fun late night snack.
The fried chicken here is amazing. Pretty much my Go-To place when I have the fried chicken cravings. Seoul Fried Chicken is good too but they lack any spicy flavors. I don't know what it is about the chicken that they use at ItDog, but it's soooo tasty! Usually I get the 5-piece Chili or Sweet&Spicy. Some times I'm feeling brave and get the HARDCORE chicken. Warning: it's pretty friggin spicy. If you get the hardcore, make sure to get the sauce on the side so you are not regretting it after.
The Hardcore Poutine here is also one of my favorites.
I don't really recommend any of the hotdogs here. They are pricey and won't satisfy your hunger. If you want a hotdog, go to Costco lol
