My family has been buying cakes from ESM for 30+years, even when I moved to British Columbia for 10 years my family use to bring it for me each time they visited because I use to crave their delicious cakes. I have highly recommended this bakery to many of my family and friends, most recently my friends from Peace River asked me where to get a cake from for their daughters 21st bday, they invested their trust in me and I invested my trust in ESM and once again they came out with flying colours. As always the cake looked and tasted amazing!! Thank you ESM for making me look good and for your always accommodating and friendly service.

This was a friendly and cozy bakery. Now, I have been visiting La Boule, Duchess, and Fan Fan in the past little wihle and I have been spoiled silly by them. I don't know how to distinguish the bakeries without offending ESM fine cakes but this is a more local and down to earth family owned bakery that is focused on value. I definitely don't break the bank buying baked goods here but at the same time I didn't expect a gourmet flair either. I really enjoyed the service and the baked goods here. The spinach roll was amazing- It wasn't in your face and the flavours were subtle but nevertheless there. It was natural goodness. The jamaican patty was also natural tasting and not oversalted like the ones you buy in store. The sausage roll was not overly greasy or salty and I really enjoyed eating it guilt-free. The creamed horn wasn't exactly my favourite but it resembled a European bakery kind of taste, with my most correlated memory in Rome (Emporio alla Pace, Rome - Navona / Pantheon / Campo de' Fiori). Come over here some time and remember - Let Eat Snow is just next door so it's a natural pairing :)
Cute little bakery in the area of little India. Cream puff and raspberry macros. They also have savory item. We tried their beef samosas.. sausage roll..beef halal roll.
Delicious food and super-friendly service. I grew up in the UK where bakeries like this are a staple, so I was really happy to find a place in Edmonton with amazing baked goods and great service from owners who take the time to chat with you while they box up your order. I love their veggie samosas, and their desserts are incredible.
I ordered a cake for my daughter Grace, very last minute and by last minute I mean the day of. They were so incredibly accommodating. I got an all chocolate cake that was out of this world. It was truly the most delicious most, light cake I have ever had. Even though it was all chocolate it wasn't too sweet. I loved it so much that I am now ordering another for our other daughters birthday. This time giving a bit more notice. Did I mention that the price of the cake was under 30 dollars....can't get better than that for this kind of quality and service.
Both their desserts and pastries are delicious, but their Samosas are the best in town!!! I ordered some for work and all my colleagues loved them. I still get asked to bring them in every couple of months. It's a great place to go to because they have such a great variety of items and the quality is exceptional. The owners and staff are really friendly!
I just love their breads, sweets , pastries & samosas! they taste as great as they look (and smell). Yummm!!! well priced and convenient location!
We chose ESM because of their Eggless vegetarian cakes.
We ordered a special cake for each month of my daughters first year.
Every month we would order a different eggless cake to celebrate each month of my daughter.
Then for my daughter's first birthday we had a large cake made for around 200 people that had a replica of each cake from each month of her first year on the base and another layer on top.
We also go here for the eggless vegetarian vegetable filled fried pastries.
We also often get other sweet dishes from here.
Everyone always loves their cakes when we bring them for special occasions.
I usually speak to Muhammad, and he puts great attention into each of our cakes.
I met his brother Shamas today and he is also very nice.
It is a great place and I highly recommend going here if you are vegetarian as they have many options (very hard to find veg. eggless cakes in Edmonton).
I am sure their regular cakes are also amazing.
Fantastic! Bought a cake last week and it was delicious. It was very last minute and the staff put there extra touch on it and adorned it with fresh strawberries and flowers. I picked up some samosas while there and they were also amazing.
