Really happy to have a Japanese restaurant in Edmonton that primarily focuses on fish. Takami has many varieties of sashimi that aren't easy to find and they are all prepared with care and expertise. Each dish looks like a work of art. The service is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely give it a try if you love sushi!

First of all... awesome sushi! Really great and fresh taste. Great service. But the only bad part is that the restaurant isn't that comfortable, it's not big enough. Finding a seat sometimes it's pure luck. Instead of that, I highly recommend this place.
Visit Edmonton for a few days from Calgary. My group and I were craving for some good sushi in the city. Asked my friends, that were local to the city, and they recommended this place. Service was excellent, server recommended their favourite rolls and I couldn’t be any happier and the beef tataki was extremely relish !

Beautifully presented bowl of assorted sashimi. 26 pieces for $80. Probably the most expensive sushi in Edmonton, but probably the best quality, too. Nice atmosphere with pleasant classical background music.
This place is amazing. We've been looking for a new place to get out sushis and landed on this one, reviews were good and they were absolutely right. We had take out, the fire rolls are must, they're delicious. I totally recommand this place and we'll be back.
Fantastic, friendly service. Simple and classy decor. The best sashimi I've ever had in my 29 years... And I've eaten a LOT of sashimi in my days. Highly recommend.
Excellent selection. The chef's specials are delicious. And we had a special selection delivered from Japan today Blue Fin Tuna. Definitely will be coming back.
