An interesting grocery and cafe to visit for the first time. It was nice to purchase pastries that I had enjoyed from my first recent visit to Portugal. Coffee shop was inside with about 4 tables, quiet place for decent discussions to take place at the table. Their Portuguese buns are freshly made. Those craving Piri Piri sauce can get it here. Lots to buy from cod to sardines..

A great bakery with deli sandwiches and imported groceries! The macaron madness squares are divine. I also recommend the cappuccino with cinnamon!

I go there often before work and get the glazed donuts for the staff. We call them little pillows of happiness. Today I went in and got a sub for my lunch. You cannot beat the prices! Everything I have purchased there is amazing! The bread and buns cannot be beat. Best anywhere!

Reasonably priced items. Bakery and grocery store combined.

Just a great bakery, has a grocery store too, lots is sausage to choose from. The baked goods are some of the best in the city, the treats and cakes are next level. Awesome sausage rolls too. Been around since ‘97 I think, they’ll be around forever IMO a northeast side treasure on 118ave.

My husband and I stopped in for a little treat. I’d heard about this place on the radio and wanted to check it out. I was mostly after the Mil Folhas however, I didn’t know what they were called. They were my favourite treat as a kid but the only other place I’ve tried them at has been at the Chinese bakeries. They’re similar, but not great. The Chinese bakery mil folhas are insipid. I was pleasantly surprised to find them here and they didn’t let me down. We bought a dozen of a variety of pastries. We liked most of them except the Eclairs, they were slightly stale and they tasted like they’d been in the fridge a little too long. They’re kept on the right side of the puff pastry little cones with the white stuffing. If you buy the puff pastry variety you should be good. They’re nice, flaky and messy to eat, but so worth it!😋 The kids liked the strawberry and lemon tarts too. if you buy a dozen items it’s $14.95, they’re $1.50 individually. We will be back to try other items maybe even some bread and sandwiches and a nice hot espresso.
