It's amazing to walk in to a place that feels like home. Genuine atmosphere, the tone from the top sets it all. Great owners and phenomenal management and staff, Love the food and best place for brunch! Bon a Petit <3
We booked a reservation for 8 for a Friday evening only a few hours in advance... when we arrived in time for the Oilers game the place was quite busy, yet we felt like we were treated special from the moment we came in the door. (I highly recommend booking a reservation like we did!) We were given a choice of two desirable areas to sit, and that was only just the beginning of our outstanding service. The highlight was when our fantastic server agreed to have the bartender make a special drink we requested... the “Bruce Wayne” (haha). By only the second try they had perfected it. My brother mentioned to us that the Old Fashioned he ordered wasn’t as good as one he has had at Hudson’s, but he was as impressed as usual with Hart’s incomparably good Gin & Tonic (the best G&T I’ve ever had, hands down). Our party had several Scotch drinkers who really appreciated the wide selection.
Everyone was satisfied with their meals... though I should note that we were quite hungry upon arrival so we also ordered a couple of appetizers to share and a few of us shared a dessert afterward. I enjoyed my gnocchi entree and my Pinot Grigio very much.
My husband and I live in Winnipeg, but we’ve been coming to Hart’s whenever we visit my siblings who both live close by. It is so nice to have a classy place with a great drink/food menu for a nice night out that is only a short cab-ride away. I think this is the fifth time we have been there as a group (since December 2015), and we will definitely be back. It was the perfect holiday celebration before my husband and I began our long, cold drive home today.
Thanks for a terrific evening!!!
Harts is one of my favourite experiences i have ever had to encounter! Just when I thought the service was great the food got even better, I would highly recommend coming here for a night out to relax with friends, or even a place to take that special someone out for date night! Thanks for always treating my friends and I so great :)
We went tonight for dinner and it was amazing! The staff are outstanding very attentive and appreciate you for coming! Beautiful place with unbelievably delicious food! We can’t wait to go again!
Best Brunch in Edmonton! My friend and I shared the chicken and waffles and carrot cake pancakes, and it was incredible! Our food came out super quickly, and the staff was extremely friendly. The GM checked on every single table while we were there, which is awesome. Well worth the drive from St. Albert! If you haven't checked this place out yet you need to!
Fantastic atmosphere, amazing staff. Even had the one manager by our table. When he found out it was our first time he gave us coupons for free meals for brunch. The food was wonderful... only thing I would change would be to have real bacon bits in the Caesar salad rather than the hard simulated kind. But definitely not a desk breaker.
Hey FB Family, If you haven't heard of or checked out this gem of a restaurant... why not?!! We had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday there and it was terrific! The 7 of us had lunch there today, our first visit, and most certainly, not our last. "Darren'(one of the managers) greeted us warmly, as if we were guests in his home, and 'Superman' Shane our handsome server, took care of the rest. We ordered several items off their one page 'something for everyone' menu and drinks. With 2 vegetarians in the group, we had no trouble ordering( BBQ Chick Pea Burger-the best) and they're so flexible with special requests! Portions are very generous, especially the yummy Beet Salad and Colossal Chocolate Cake. OMG. the 5 of us couldn't finish this decadent piece of heaven. At first glance, the prices may seem a bit higher than other places, but wait until you get your food,,,Hart's is not like other places. The entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Darren and team, we'll be baaaaaack! :D
We tried out Hart’s today for brunch and I enjoyed it. I had the eggs Benedict and he had the corned beef hash. The food was alright, but not amazing. The service and atmosphere made up for what the food lacked. I will defiantly come back for drinks and to give dinner a try.
We recently had a date night at the Hart's Table in the Edmonton community of Riverbend. This was our first time eating at the Hart's Table. We thought to give it a try because it is part of the Century Hospitality Group which typically does really well with gluten free dining. Hart's Table did not disappoint with plenty of marked options.
Stopped for brunch at Terwillegar on way to Airport Oct 1st. Great atmosphere, classy décor, good prices, great looking servers with lovely smiles, much like Moxie's. The kitchen was slow in preparing our meals so I just mentioned this to one of them. Within minutes the hostess was at our table with apologies and gift certificates...carrot pancakes and chicken with waffles (maybe their least popular selections?) My son's eggs benedict was perfect. My benedict with corned beef hash was perfectly presented. Holandaise was smooth as butter. But the corned beef has was 1 cm cubes, tough and tasteless. I expected shaved and diced. It's advertised as 'made in house'. Should get it somewhere that makes it tender. Unfortunately, we'll never use the gift certificates since I live in Ontario and my son lives in North Edmonton,
Perfect spot for brunch! Nearby riverbend square with parking available. Our server was able to seat us on the patio right away even though it was a long weekend. Food was amazing and demolished within minutes. Bellies were quote full leaving. Great service & food!
My dinner Club went here for our End of Summer gathering and it was a great choice.
First off, this place must be very popular as our original date wasn't going to work because it was booked for a wedding! Also, the second date (a Thursday) had a huge booking, too, but still accommodated us by giving us a booth with extra chairs. The table ended up being perfect. It is always great having a round table for a large group.
We shared two items from the Small Bites menu: Corn Dog Prawns and Hummus with Pita. Both were good but we all really liked the prawns. We also arrived in time for the last half hour of happy hour so I enjoyed a $5 prosecco.
We all ordered a variety of mains and everyone was very happy with their choices. Myself and another had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with mushrooms, which was filling and earthy. The Roasted Chicken with the jalapeño Mac n' Cheese looked amazing, as did the Salmon in a curry sauce (which I did originally have my eye on). The Beet Salad was huge and fresh looking. Another friend had the Seafood Linguine and the vegetarian pick was the Chickpea Sandwich. A few of us like to share samples and I go to taste the mussels (my friend thoroughly enjoyed them) and the meatloaf (I am not a fan of meatloaf but it was actually quite nice).
A few more cocktails were enjoyed and I couldn't resist the one named "Mama Needs a Cocktail" which was sweet and refreshing.
We were full but happily shared the S'mores Cheesecake which was absolute heaven and hands down our favourite.
We would highly recommend this place and I'd like to return for brunch as I've heard it is fantastic.
Last week, Hart’s Table & Bar invited me to come try their restaurant. They are located south of Edmonton in Terwillegar area. They are managed by Century Hospitality Group, along with Lux, MKT, Parlour, and Delux Burger bar. There’s an ample amount of parking in the area, being in a little strip area. The space is really spacious, and nice. They have a really nice bar area, and some booths/tables around. High ceilings, and nice atmosphere. The place was really lively when I came, and there was a ton of people around. Hart’s table is a bar, but serving higher end food, and as such, their prices are on the higher end as well. We started off with the Baked Brie, had the Beef Short Ribs, and we were recommended one of their featured dishes, which was the Grilled Swordfish.
Great food, great service, great experience
Food is great. Cool atmosphere. We've been there for brunch, lunch, and dinners. Always had a positive experience, even with kids. .
Dinner at Harts table tonight. Drunken cheese bread appetizer is fabulous. Then chicken and waffles for one and French dip for my guest. Flavors are great and so is the service. Nice visit with one of the managers.
Great BBQ ribs with fingerling potatoes and some other interesting sides. The braised beef is *fantastic*. My husband and I have made this our go-to neighborhood restaurant. (Both dishes are celiac-friendly, ding ding ding!).
We went a bit earlier on a Saturday night, about 5:30pm. Only a few tables were occupied, we were seated right away.
Waitress was there to ask about drinks within a couple minutes. Offered me samples of the various Micro Breweries on tap and returned quickly with them.
We ordered and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Appearance was perfect.
I was surprised that the food was not very salty when compared to most meals we have when we eat out.
The entire meal was very good, CB & Rye was my dish and Turkey Burger is what my wife had. Boys both had French Dips.
The waitress was very attentive until about 6:45, when the place started to fill up. I could see she was then spending less time with each table.
Entire evening out was most enjoyable, and the decor in the place is really unique, the entire bar wall is tiled, wow! Would definitely go back, probably a little earlier again as well, just to help ensure service and food is as good again.
My friends and I couldn't decide what to eat on a Monday night, so we ended up searching and found this restaurant! I was a bit skeptical since they are a part of the Century Hospitality Group which I've had mixed experiences with. Arriving at the restaurant there was no wait for 4 people and we were immediately seated. The atmosphere seemed cozy and almost romantic, with dimmed lights. Our service at the restaurant was fantastic, with our server checking in on us many times and making genuine conversations with us.
The 4 of us split the duck poutine appetizer which we found to be very good except the amount of duck seemed a bit underwhelming. We then each ordered our main dishes, the Chicken and Waffles, a full rack of ribs, the Rigatoni, and I got the Turkey Club Burger with fries. My burger was amazing, it tasted like a beef burger with a hint of pepper on it and it left me feeling very satisfied after. The fries were average, nothing bad but nothing good. My friend who got the Chicken and Waffles said it was good and similar to other restaurants in Edmonton. The ribs were good, but the Rigatoni lacked flavour and seemed bland.
All in all, the service was fantastic, but the food was hit and miss. I definitely enjoyed my burger and to an extent the fries, but my friend's Rigatoni was really bland and the other dishes weren't outstanding. A comparable place in my mind to this restaurant is State and Main. I probably wouldn't go out of the way to go to this restaurant, but if I was nearby I would definitely seriously consider stopping by. Recommended.
First time for us and we loved it! Excellent food, portions and the service was fabulous too. My Mr had the half slab of ribs and I tried Ma's meatloaf. Will definitely visit again.
I cannot rave enough about the quality of food and service! It started as we walked in the door and were greeted by not only the manager but a number of staff! We had some picky eaters and the chefs catered to us and let us switch some stuff around on our dishes. The manager checked in on us twice during dinner. The portions were so filling and delicious!! The fries made in duck fat!! Cant stop at one! The boneless short ribs to die for!! Highly Recommend!!
What could be better than it being Noon on a lovely Canada Day afternoon and your husband saying "Let's go find some Eggs Benny on a Patio"? Perfect I thought! And while we hummed and hawed for a few minutes about trying a new spot, Philly said "Why don't we go for Lobster Eggs Benny at Hart's". When he added "Then you can have those Creamsicle Mojito's that you love so much" he had me sold! So off we went in search of a patio. It wasn't a super great day but it was warm and there was a little bit of sun out so we found a spot to enjoy.
Great Ambiance. Friendly staff and excellent ambiance. I love this place
We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch here! Everything from when I made my reservation to the service and food was so great! The huevos Benedict was unreal! Can't wait to come back at dinner and try some amazing looking cocktails!
Delicious meal. I was skeptical based on other reviews but my husband and I went there last night and our food was delicious. Every plate was nicely presented, the wine pairings worked nicely, and the service was great. Maybe my visit was an outlier, but everything was wonderful and I will certainly return.
We were a little hesitant despite the poor reviews and the fact that it was Valentine's Day, we didn't expect much but my mom and I had an amazing time! Tania B was was a awesome, friendly server and the food (lettuce wraps and antipasta plate) was delicious! We will definitely come back!!
Had a great night. Food was amazing, service was fantastic, showed up last minute with no problem getting a table. Very impressed
Fantastic Soup, salad and salmon - not to mention the wine and the fabulous service!. I went there not expecting too much because of the 2 star review and I was very surprised. All of the food was fabulous, the place was bust , and the atmosphere was energetically happy.
My new local watering hole!. I don't really understand the bad reviews on here, as we have come here once a week for the past month on random weeknights, weekdays, and sat nights and had such great food service and atmosphere that we have shut the place down every time! It's always been fairly empty but thats fine with me, better service that way and they always remember us. We used to go to The Bend or Original Joe's but this is now our new spot. The appetizers are great and I love the Sunday funday Cesar specials all day. We have been served behind the bar by Monica or by Megan and at the tables by Julie and a redhead whose name I forgot, who were all wonderful pleasant and personable. and the manager Shawn always comes by to check on us twice during the night. I love the perogies and the charicature plate. The other restaurants in the area don't compare. Albeit this is the only Century Hospitality restaurant I haven't sent food back at, it makes me more willing to try the others again, but for not leaving our neighbourhood this place can't be beat!! The one thing I would say is the server uniforms look very uncomfortable and don't match the atmosphere. 4/5
Delicious. I visited Hart's today. I'm very impressed. Even before I walked in the door, the hostess was smiling and greeted me warmly. I say at the bar where the bartender offered me a spectacular Caesar with horseradish! So yummy!
I wasn't starving, so I just ordered an appy. The duck poutine is Ah-maze-ing.
Melissa is a superior waitress and the bartender made great conversation. I will %100 be returning-totally worth the drive from Sherwood Park
Great addition to the neighbourhood. We were so thrilled to see this place open in Terwillegar, as we have been waiting for another casual, yet elegant type of place to stop by for drinks and food.
Hart's was great! The atmosphere is really nice and the service was fantastic. Obviously they are still new and still working out the kinks, but our server was great and went to find answers for any questions that we had. The menu is really interesting and different - love the upscale take on pub food! Lots of choices, both healthy and indulgent and I had a hard time deciding what to try. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Love that they have wine on tap and appreciated the Monday night special that allowed me to have a tasty glass of wine for $5.
My only complaint is that I agree that the food is slightly overpriced. I paid $18 for the "Picnic Chicken Club" and the handcut fries. It was very tasty, but I was a bit surprised that it was so expensive.
I will definitely come back, but it probably won't replace OJs as our fave neighbourhood place only because of the price difference.
Great Service Excellent Food. Very impressed with this twist on a restaurant dining. Quality food in a fun lounge like atmosphere. Serving staff was especially professional and performed like you would expect from fine dining. Food was served much quicker than we expected, despite the place being full capacity. Food quality was certainly not lacking either. Although the menu was pub"ish", the presentation and quality was well above what you would expect from your local watering hole. The duck poutine was surprisingly delicious, and was not light on the duck. The lobster linguine again had more lobster than we expected. All around delicious and a fun night out.
Looking forward to trying out the patio in the sunshine.
Eating our Harts out at Harts!. We enjoyed our lunch at Harts today. There were so many items to choose from that it was hard to decide what to pick! We ended up trying the turkey sliders, lettuce wraps, and shrimp. The lettuce wraps were very flavourful and great to share. The turkey sliders were so moist and tasty. Our server was great and very friendly. We are looking forward to returning to try some more delicious food! It is nice to have a new restaurant in the neighbourhood!
I was so looking forward to this place. I know they are just opening, but the food was not great. The greeters didn't seem in control. People were being seated out of order and some were really miffed. Small portions and VERY expensive for what you're getting. Seems like they saw the neighborhood demographics and thought they'd cash in. Charging like XIX but only delivering like Moxies won't be sustainable long term. I hope they get it right because there is huge potential for a great neighborhood family joint. I love their other concept restaurants and frequent often, so this was really disappointing. Rumor is that one of the Joeys/Cactus/Earls is opening in Ambleside, so Harts has some time to differentiate and establish loyalty now. Charging high and delivering low is not the formula I'd suggest. Just saying...
UPDATE**. Went back and tried again on a Saturday night. Table of 6. Good was REALLY GOOD, as was the service! Happy to see them getting their act together and providing a great dining experience!!
Great Spot. I can't say enough great things about this new little gem!! Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere!! Its the full meal deal. The mussles were probably my favorite of the evening, but it was a hard choice between everything we ordered. The kale dip was such a wicked surprise, so tasty and interesting. The homemade perogies are a "must" and the lettuce wraps were super tasty and flavorful. Great selection of wines and beer, beautiful spot. What a great addition to town. We will be back!
Carrot cake pancakes! Yumm!
