It's amazing to walk in to a place that feels like home. Genuine atmosphere, the tone from the top sets it all. Great owners and phenomenal management and staff, Love the food and best place for brunch! Bon a Petit <3
We booked a reservation for 8 for a Friday evening only a few hours in advance... when we arrived in time for the Oilers game the place was quite busy, yet we felt like we were treated special from the moment we came in the door. (I highly recommend booking a reservation like we did!) We were given a choice of two desirable areas to sit, and that was only just the beginning of our outstanding service. The highlight was when our fantastic server agreed to have the bartender make a special drink we requested... the “Bruce Wayne” (haha). By only the second try they had perfected it. My brother mentioned to us that the Old Fashioned he ordered wasn’t as good as one he has had at Hudson’s, but he was as impressed as usual with Hart’s incomparably good Gin & Tonic (the best G&T I’ve ever had, hands down). Our party had several Scotch drinkers who really appreciated the wide selection.
Everyone was satisfied with their meals... though I should note that we were quite hungry upon arrival so we also ordered a couple of appetizers to share and a few of us shared a dessert afterward. I enjoyed my gnocchi entree and my Pinot Grigio very much.
My husband and I live in Winnipeg, but we’ve been coming to Hart’s whenever we visit my siblings who both live close by. It is so nice to have a classy place with a great drink/food menu for a nice night out that is only a short cab-ride away. I think this is the fifth time we have been there as a group (since December 2015), and we will definitely be back. It was the perfect holiday celebration before my husband and I began our long, cold drive home today.
Thanks for a terrific evening!!!
We tried out Hart’s today for brunch and I enjoyed it. I had the eggs Benedict and he had the corned beef hash. The food was alright, but not amazing. The service and atmosphere made up for what the food lacked. I will defiantly come back for drinks and to give dinner a try.
We recently had a date night at the Hart's Table in the Edmonton community of Riverbend. This was our first time eating at the Hart's Table. We thought to give it a try because it is part of the Century Hospitality Group which typically does really well with gluten free dining. Hart's Table did not disappoint with plenty of marked options.
Stopped for brunch at Terwillegar on way to Airport Oct 1st. Great atmosphere, classy décor, good prices, great looking servers with lovely smiles, much like Moxie's. The kitchen was slow in preparing our meals so I just mentioned this to one of them. Within minutes the hostess was at our table with apologies and gift certificates...carrot pancakes and chicken with waffles (maybe their least popular selections?) My son's eggs benedict was perfect. My benedict with corned beef hash was perfectly presented. Holandaise was smooth as butter. But the corned beef has was 1 cm cubes, tough and tasteless. I expected shaved and diced. It's advertised as 'made in house'. Should get it somewhere that makes it tender. Unfortunately, we'll never use the gift certificates since I live in Ontario and my son lives in North Edmonton,
Perfect spot for brunch! Nearby riverbend square with parking available. Our server was able to seat us on the patio right away even though it was a long weekend. Food was amazing and demolished within minutes. Bellies were quote full leaving. Great service & food!
My dinner Club went here for our End of Summer gathering and it was a great choice.
First off, this place must be very popular as our original date wasn't going to work because it was booked for a wedding! Also, the second date (a Thursday) had a huge booking, too, but still accommodated us by giving us a booth with extra chairs. The table ended up being perfect. It is always great having a round table for a large group.
We shared two items from the Small Bites menu: Corn Dog Prawns and Hummus with Pita. Both were good but we all really liked the prawns. We also arrived in time for the last half hour of happy hour so I enjoyed a $5 prosecco.
We all ordered a variety of mains and everyone was very happy with their choices. Myself and another had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with mushrooms, which was filling and earthy. The Roasted Chicken with the jalapeño Mac n' Cheese looked amazing, as did the Salmon in a curry sauce (which I did originally have my eye on). The Beet Salad was huge and fresh looking. Another friend had the Seafood Linguine and the vegetarian pick was the Chickpea Sandwich. A few of us like to share samples and I go to taste the mussels (my friend thoroughly enjoyed them) and the meatloaf (I am not a fan of meatloaf but it was actually quite nice).
A few more cocktails were enjoyed and I couldn't resist the one named "Mama Needs a Cocktail" which was sweet and refreshing.
We were full but happily shared the S'mores Cheesecake which was absolute heaven and hands down our favourite.
We would highly recommend this place and I'd like to return for brunch as I've heard it is fantastic.
Last week, Hart’s Table & Bar invited me to come try their restaurant. They are located south of Edmonton in Terwillegar area. They are managed by Century Hospitality Group, along with Lux, MKT, Parlour, and Delux Burger bar. There’s an ample amount of parking in the area, being in a little strip area. The space is really spacious, and nice. They have a really nice bar area, and some booths/tables around. High ceilings, and nice atmosphere. The place was really lively when I came, and there was a ton of people around. Hart’s table is a bar, but serving higher end food, and as such, their prices are on the higher end as well. We started off with the Baked Brie, had the Beef Short Ribs, and we were recommended one of their featured dishes, which was the Grilled Swordfish.
Great food, great service, great experience
Food is great. Cool atmosphere. We've been there for brunch, lunch, and dinners. Always had a positive experience, even with kids. .
Dinner at Harts table tonight. Drunken cheese bread appetizer is fabulous. Then chicken and waffles for one and French dip for my guest. Flavors are great and so is the service. Nice visit with one of the managers.
Great BBQ ribs with fingerling potatoes and some other interesting sides. The braised beef is *fantastic*. My husband and I have made this our go-to neighborhood restaurant. (Both dishes are celiac-friendly, ding ding ding!).
