I love this restaurant. The service is always top notch and so is the food. Probably the best Pho Beef Satay in the city Every dish that I have tried, which is a large majority of their menu, is always excellent. If you like Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place to go!
Food is excellent! Mango salad is always great. The soup is by far the best in the city. Presentation, taste and quality are top notch and super consistent! The family run atmosphere is hands down the best. As a regular they remember us and the relationship is like going to see a friend. I cant thank them enough for having such a welcoming environment and delicious food.
Even after moving across the city I can't think of another place I'd rather go.
This place is Dang Good! You won’t be disappointed by the food and the service. In my book it is the best Pho I have tried in the city. Satay soup is my favourite.
I stopped by for lunch today. This is a great Vietnamese spot. Friendly, clean and very nice. I had the vermicelli bowl, it was very good, and generous.
The food here is consistently good. I get two things here every time and they are amazing every time! The Beef Satay is friggin amazing! The serving size is very generous for the price. The Green Onion Cake here is also amazing. It has the right amount of outside crisp and puffy dough inside.
I haven't tried anything else here.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times and it never disappoints. The food is fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is casual. I love the colour bowls, and my friend said the ginger beef was the best she had ever tasted.
Absolutely superb food and very friendly service. We have to drive halfway across town to reach it, and we still go there three or four times a month at least. The pad thai is awesome and just spicy enough to be fun, and the combinations are all delicious. Well worth a bit of a drive.
Heard this place was Dang good years ago but never had the chance to go. While driving by today we were looking for a place to eat and I spotted it so in we went. We had salad rolls with tofu, and the 5 color dish but with rice instead of vermicelli. Never had salad rolls with tofu but they were very good. The peanut sauce was good. I think I would like more fish sauce but that's my own personal taste. The 5 colour had beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and spring rolls. All were grilled very nicely and the presentation was delightful. The service was fine and the place was basically full. I will be back.

Solid place for pho. Staff is super friendly, service is super quick. Establishment is clean and tidy. Meals are decently priced and make sense, not overwhelmingly elaborate. Definitely recommended!!
I've been here a few times now. Food has always been very tasty, good selection, and hot. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service but slow - only one wait staff but he really hustles! It is more expensive than comparable restaurants.
Best pho beef sate soup in Edmonton hands down. The regular beef pho is sooo deelish too. My partner and I go here at least once a week. 5 colour bowl is awesome too. Mango smoothie is super yummy too and the green onion cakes are so fluffy, crispy and light. We always get the salad rolls with beef and ask for mango in them too. Great family owned authentic Vietnamese. Love it. Addicted o it. Never lets me down :)
A group of us are here this afternoon. The food was outstanding! I love Vietnamese, and am always thrilled when there are trustworthy vegan options available. The owner is vegetarian, and most menu items can be made vegetarian or vegan. The satay pho was phenomenal. I will be back to this small mom & pop restaurant many times in the future.
I’ve had a few things off the menu and my favourite is the beef sate. It’s not too spicy and is full of flavour. The lemongrass really shines. The spring rolls are also very delicious! The photo below is of their beef Pho with flank.
I visited Dang Good for the first time this past weekend. I loved it! They have an entire page dedicated to vegetarian food which is amazing. I had the vegan spicy pho sate which was delicious. The green onion cakes were excellent. I will definitely be back here again!
Been eating here for years, thought I would finally put a review in. This place is great! Food is good, ingredients are fresh, but most importantly, the staff is super friendly and attentive. Aside from the name itself lending to describing this place to a tee, the owners are very genuine and truly care about the food. Even though it’s been a year since we last ate here, they still remembered my family. Will always come back when I visit Edmonton.
The BEST place in Edmonton for Vietnamese food. They have great menu items but THE best vegan options. Fresh and flavorful food. It is soooo dang good!

The vietnamese salad rolls were just ok but minor point.
I eat here atleast 2 times a month because the quality and serving sizes never fail to impress me every single time. Yes, this place gets slammed and you may have to wait for a while but it's worth it for the food and customer service. There is a reason this restaurant gets packed and maybe with more prolonged support they will eventually be able to move to a larger location and can afford extra staff while still maintaining their impeccable standards.
I have been coming to this place for soup for a long time and I love it. They have the best wonton soup in town! Today I tried something new and had the Pho Seafood Soup that was excellent! The service is great. I have never had to wait and they usually know my order before I sit down. Highly recommend trying Dang Good!
Edmonton has a vast selection of amazing vegan and vegetarian restaurants, and while I’m new to both the diet and the city I can confidently state that Dang Good is the best I’ve ever eaten at. Hands down the best dining experience I’ve had since becoming vegetarian, their vegan menu is sizeable and has the same variety of options as any Vietnamese menu, just plant based. And the prices are great, probably the cheapest vegan meal available in Edmonton (I love all those little plant-based cafes you guys have up here but my wallet does not) and it tastes like heaven. I Definitely Recommend, and I will be returning the next time I’m in Edmonton during lunch.
