How I'd rate fine dining restaurants is with the atmosphere, food, service and whether their prices are worth it for the whole experience. Red Ox Inn blew my mind. Not at all like other restaurant that are pretentious. Food portions- well worth what you paid for. Everything in the menu was priced way less than I would expect from high quality food. Food experience was indescribable, so much flavour and technique was all there. The atmosphere is low key although you can tell that it is an exclusive place with only a few tables. We had the beef and duck. Great wine selection btw!! A must try ���
I've been going there for over 20 years and the food has always been top notch. I love how the menu changes from season to season and the food is never boring.
Sublime. Chef Sean continues to outperform, delivering both classics and new creations, all with his personal flair and attention to detail. I strongly recommend the his "chef's tasting" and Allison's wine pairing. Bravo!

I invited three friends to the Red Ox Inn for dinner last Saturday evening, a restaurant that I had not visited for quite some time. I was making a reservation at the last minute and they were the only place that I could get into albeit the early hour of 5:00.
We ordered appetizers and main courses from their small menu.
Every course we ordered was simply amazing ! I travel to New York several times each year and indulge in their vast choice of excellent restaurants and the food we were served in this small unassuming restaurant was 5 star.
We all started with the Beet Salad and the first words out of my mouth were ...this is amazing !! Everyone agreed. Each of us had a different entre and the curious thing I noticed was that all of the plates were literally wiped clean ! Everyone was commenting how delicious their choices were.
The place could use a decorative over haul but don't let that keep you away. It is the food ! It is very small so make your reservations well in advance. Enjoy !

Yesterday evening, my wife and I went to Red Ox Inn to celebrate our anniversary and it was an amazing experience! Starting with the Heirloom Tomato Soup followed by an order of Scallops as appetizers, then the Duck for entrees, our tastebuds were in a state of wonder, excitement and amazement! We also shared a dessert which was a Passionfruit Panna Cotta...I can’t remember that is what it was called exactly, but wow! Was it ever delicious!! With its citrus, coconut, passion fruit flavours all coming together to awaken the senses!! It was very tempting to order a second one!! Our server Allison also added to our wonderful experience with her friendly, attentive and thoughtful service. I honestly cannot believe we had never been there before, but rest assured, we will be back!!

We just returned tonight to celebrate my wife’s birthday, let’s say it is for her 35th, that’ll make her happy! I’m happy to say it was an equally amazing dinner...just like the first time! I don’t usually update my reviews but since they change their menu and the one posted on the main page is out of date, I’m adding pictures of the current menu.
I must be getting old because I was getting sleepy even before dinner on New Year's Eve. Nonetheless, to end 2017 off with a bang, we headed to Red Ox Inn, one of the city's most beloved restaurant gems nestled in the neighbourhood of Strathearn. Although it was my first time at the restaurant, I was excited to try the food after hearing so many good things.
Went with work colleagues to this restaurant earlier this week. It was good both in terms of food and service. I do wish the service had been slightly more attentive but that was likely because we stayed until nearly closing time.
The food was quite decent. The entree course of duck was very good. I was less impressed by the smoked trout starter but it was pretty decent, as well.
Overall, a good restaurant in the Bonnie Doon area.
My bride and I celebrated our 12th anniversary there. We've been before but I think this was the best it's ever been. Lamb and Sable fish were great so was the pork belly app. Service was friendly and efficient. The only critique I would have is the noise level. This small place would benefit from some sound absorbing surfaces. Another thoughtful touch would be to angle the mirror downward a bit so that customers looking into the wall could see the action behind them instead of a reflection of the ceiling. Lot's of great choices in Edmonton these days but we'll be back for sure.
Finally! I’ve been wanting to try Red Ox Inn for the past couple of occasions but the timing/stars weren’t aligned. Things finally panned out so I made a reservation for three to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I was able to snag a decent time slot, 7:45pm on a Saturday, even though we booked less than a week ahead of time. Take that Corso 32 and Rge Rd.
Our absolute long time favourite fine dining restaurant in Edmonton. The chef always uses interesting seasonal produce and his dishes never disappoint. Other trendy places will come and go, but as long as the chef/owner continues running this place, we will be back time and time again!
Tried this one for the first time on a week night. Small place with very neutral décor but wasn't busy at all so had plenty of privacy to enjoy the food and the food was SO TASTY! Had two appetizers to share, the pork belly and the tomato salad. Both had great flavours with a very interesting combination of ingredients. The portions were quite small especially for an average price of $17 per appetizer. We also split the chicken comfit entrée and enjoyed every bite. The price tag might put a bit of a dent in your wallet and be prepared for a bit of a wait between the dishes. Overall, amazing flavours for the food and a place that I would try again for a nice date night.

The only complaint is the restaurant doesn't really have an ambiance, kind of plain decor. Could use some redecorating!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton! Recently went there for a birthday celebration for my girlfriend and everything was perfect! The staff gave me my requested table, the service was prompt and friendly, and the staff was very knowledgable of the menu and wine pairings. The food was absolutely amazing, with my favorite item being the pork belly, to die for! They even surprised my date with a birthday candle alongside her dessert, which was a fantastic touch! Overall, an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back! (Pictured is the lamb and chicken entrées)

Treat yourself with an all-night affair. Great service - can tell their servers are very experienced.
Delicious food - Chicken entree was the most moist chicken I have ever had, and the bread pudding was a total taste bud treat. Date said his Sirlion entree was the best he had ever had, perfect at medium-rare. Whipped cheesecake dessert was heaven, Chocolate dessert was average.
Drinks - Extensive wine list, but have to ask what they have for beer as they don't have it on the menu
Interior set-up - Extremely awkward front entrance, very cramped and no one greeting so we waited a minute or so before the server came to show us to our table. Only ~12 tables in the restaurant, and all very close together. Could definitely hear the conversations around us and felt a bit awkward having private conversation within two feet of other diners.
Summary - Had a great meal, spent about 3 hours there as we became more comfortable with the atmosphere mainly due to the great service, but expect to spend a large chunk of change and to wait a while for food and the cheque.

Excellent. Great service, great food. What else does one need. Definitely will go back in the future. Wife had the tomato soup - very tasty and for her main she had the halibut which she raved about. I had the beet salad - nice! For my main I had the beef - very tender and tasty. For desert we had the cheese plate - just right for two people. All in all a great experience.
Amazing. I had the Mac and cheese to start, my husband had the beef tartar (probably best to share the tartar... too much for one person).I had the beef tenderloin and my husband had the chicken. Split the whipped cheesecake for dessert. Truly amazing. Worth the price, worth the wait.

I will continue to recommend " the Red Ox Inn ". I have dined at the Red Ox Inn on four occasions, all of them special occasions, the first one was with a GF, we both lived in Lloydminster at the time, we had all the courses including house smoked bacon on something amazing it was non stop fabulous then on top of that the waiter recommended such an amazing bottle of Red I called the restaurant the next day to double check the name of the wine so I could source a bottle as a special treat for my friend...the chef was so helpful he actually told me the wine store Vines supplied it for the restaurant...I found Vines and now I have a favourite wine store too. I had dinner at the Red Ox with my adult daughter on two occasions all fabulous the Inn never disappoints, then one of my dearest friends from out of town texted me last minute to join her at the Jubilee for Mama Mia that evening, a weekday, I said let's have a lovely dinner since you will be In Edmonton in time, Diamond limo picked us up at the theatre, drove us to The Red Ox Inn and drove us back to the Jubilee for the performance, we had the most fabulous dinner, my friend was so impressed with the meal, service, again the Inn does not disappoint ..... Soooo when both my son and his GF asked me separately via text yesterday where I would recommend they go for their 4 year anniversary dinner I said, of course The Red Ox Inn" they checked out the menu on line and made the reso they are very excited about the evening. I am confident the Red Ox Inn will not disappoint :)

Fantastic Food but Cold Ambience..... I believe that a great dining experience involves a number of factors...yes the food is paramount, but ambience is also very important. Red Ox Inn has great food, absolutely delicious, but the restaurant has no ambience. There are no pictures on the walls...only one long mirror and the restaurant is stark and has a unfriendly feeling. When you walk in the door the restaurant does not say "Welcome" in any sense of the word,
The service while adequate had a bitter edge to it...the waitress just seemed on edge...probably because she was the only waitress for the restaurant.
The wait time is longer than average, but to be perfectly honest the wait time is worth it because the food is great!
Mac and Cheese appetizer: this dish is done in most restaurants in some shape or form, but here it is unique and the flavours are great, cheese, apple, leeks and great pasta.
Beet Salad: the goat cheese makes this dish...great job!
Lamb entree: the lamb was perfectly cooked and the potato pave was crisp and light and all the sauces added so much flavour
Chicken: this restaurant knows how to cook chicken...it was the best...and all the flavours went together perfectly, the cornbread, the romesco...Yum!
Beef Tenderloin: the mushroom pudding was a wonderful component of this entree
Chocolate dessert: get it, it is wonderful
Lemon Tart: it was good, but not to par with the other great items on the menu...
So bottom line, great food and I would go again, but only on a night I am not in a rush and when I do not need to feel warm and welcomed. Add a big dose of AMBIENCE to this place and it will SHINE!

New experience. The enviroment was very homely and even though I felt extraordinarily out of place and unfamiliar they proved to be helpful. The food was extraordinary and I would like to commend the chef for his use of many attributes in the food I wouldn't normaly have expected. My boyfriend and I went to the Red Ox Inn for my birthday back in December. We are young, and find that sometimes we get bad service at nicer restaurants because of our age. However, this was not the case. We got an amazing table, and were not rushed through our dinner at any time throughout the night. Every dish is made fresh, so it does take quite some time for the food to come out. Our only mistake was not ordering an appetizer (although the server did warn us that we should), and were quite hungry by the time our entrees came. We had duck breast, which was tender and cooked perfectly. We also had butternut squash ravioli, which was so fresh and melted in my mouth. I was so impressed by the food, the freshness and the incredible service. Amazing! Would go back in a second.

Must...compare...to...Edmonton!. This is like Corso 32 but in a different way. That's as much as I can say about comparing fine dining places!
I just got back from Paris and I needed some fine dining to get rid of jet lag so I came here.
The service is excellent and each dish has its ups and downs. I liked the pork belly in that it was crispy and dry, but some people like it braised in its own sauce. The Ling Cod was also a little dry but that made the skin crisper. It's a trade-off, really. I did not like how the bacon and mushrooms were too salty in comparison to the fish. I mean, it was a nice contrast but I wish there was more of a balance to the two. The beef tartare, well, I'm still no expert at it so I don't know what's authentic, but it was decent (Is Continental Treat more authentic?!). The lamb was probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. I didn't know there'd be so much taste to it. The deep fried falafel acted as a more exciting companion to the deceivingly boring lamb.
Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience here and I'm especially surprised for this quality in Edmonton (We are not New York y'know!). It ran pretty close to some of the higher rated restaurants in Paris that I've been too. Not comparing to French food but you know what I mean. This is definitely not your bang-for-your-buck restaurant and if I were to do fine dining again I'd probably go to Corso 32 despite the really poor service that I had one time there.

Worth the price. There are only a few restaurants around I will call actual fine dinning and the ones I do, I hold to a higher standard. so that being said this is one of those places. once you get your first course you can tell the is the big leagues. but the big leagues don't come cheap. if your looking to be thrifty or maybe your a picky eater, wrong spot, move on. dinner for four was close to $500. mind you we spared no expense, 4 starters, 4 mains,3 desserts, and lots of wine.
starters were amazing, in house smoked salmon, this mushroom polenta poached egg creation, pork belly, and ground to order steak tartar. all exquisitely sauced and very well thought out.
main course we had two vadouvan lamb mains with falafel, sheep cheese, carrot/parsnip side, and fig reduction. vadouvan is a new trendy Indian curry with French influences in all the right places. perfectly cooked, seasoned and everything went well together. I have to say I make a lot of falafel at home and now that I've tried this version, it's revolutionized the way I'll be doing it from now on.
the other two dishes were a tortellini pasta with butternut squash base which was so delicate all other pasta will never be the same. lastly the duck, also cooked perfectly, came with steamed fennel and parsnip puree? not too sure on that. very nicely done. stronger tasting duck, so if your a newbie to duck I'd start with something tamer.
the cheese course/dessert course were huge. looking back splitting the a cheese course and dessert between 4 of us would have sufficed. the cambozola cheese with homemade crab apple jelly and candied walnuts was amazing. the chocolate creation was massive and came with pretty much all combinations of chocolate imaginable. Like the rest, very good.
overall a great experience, the only thing I did not like was the lack of salt and pepper on the table, this is an ego thing I just do not agree with(mind you it was seasoned perfectly so I can't complain too much)
and I've seen this on a few other reviews as well, a little basket of fresh bread would go a long way.
This place was simply amazing. The service was great. The good well I have no words to describe it. But calling it amazing simply does not do it justice. The pork belly and scallops as a starter were great. I could have had the pork belly as a meal. For dinner I had the lamb and my gf had the duck breast. Both were simply fantastic.

It's expensive. We spent $200 including tip for two people. We had a bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. Worth every freakin penny though. The beef tartar is fresh and full of flavour. They even split the appie on 2 plates for us. I had the duck with gnocchi and fennel. My husband had the strip loin with leeks and gruyere mash. For dessert we shared the chocolate mouse. We didn't talk much during our meal because we were busy moaning over every bite and sip. I will come back again soon. This is by far the best restaurant in the city. The food is always a treat. The minimalist way the menu is formatted means you always have a pleasant surprise when the meal comes our. Each dish is layered with new hidden tastes with every bite. The service is always on point. Career servers with commitment to their positions are evident. The atmosphere is quaint, the clientele is diverse. Since the introduction of the new chef, the food has been spot on every time.
We like to try new wines and the server offered samples with courses.
It is an experience, if you want quick food or don't like the people you are dining with, then this is not the place for you.
I have been reluctant to write a review because I don't want it to get any busier than it is now as it is already a challenge to book reservations.

19 yr anniversary supper was the occasion. We started with smoked beet salad and heirloom tomato soup, then main course of ling cod and duck dinner. Let me just say it was awesome. Then for dessert chocolate and lemon sherbet and it was also amazing. Service was great , we'll be going there again.
Mouthwatering!!!. By far some of the finest food I have had in Edmonton to date! The location is unique and cozy, and worth it all! The soup had me scratching at the bowl bottom for more! Followed by the duck breast.......mmmm!! Chocolate desert!!! Mmmmmmmm!!! You just gotta go.
Cozy and Exquisite. Hidden location but really nice food. Pricey but so worth it because I am still full. We had the pork belly appetizer and it was divine. For entrees, we got the lamb and the duck breast. The duck breast with the gnocchi was very tasty and so was the chocolate dessert.
My only peeve was that it was quite small and there is no place to wait so we literally had to go outside to wait for our table.
Spectacular!. Hubs and I wanted to try the Red Ox for a few years and were finally able to make it happen. Thank goodness we did! We ordered almost one of everything off of the menu...cauliflower soup (so good, almost got seconds), beet salad, pork belly (of course), short ribs, lamb, coffees, cheese plate, dark spiced rum cake with egg nog ice cream...some wine...literally almost one of everything. It is a small and intimate place (good eavesdropping on our table neighbors) and we will certainly be coming back!
This is my favourite restaurant out of all the fine dining restaurants. My fiancée and I make a point of going there a few times a year for special occasions. The second time we went there was for my birthday and I was sicker than a dog but the food was so good it actually made me feel better. Every bite was enjoyable, our waitress knew exactly how the food was prepared and what was in it. I love how personal this restaurant is. Make sure you make reservations a week in advance you won't regret it.

It's on the expensive side, especially if you have wine, but I actually felt like the price was appropriate here. Most of the time we are left feeling disappointed after paying a huge bill for mediocre food ...but the Red Ox delivered everything we expected.
Loved the beef tartare, and the Black Cod. Everyone at our table of 5 enjoyed their meals immensely, including those who had lamb and beef dishes.
And dessert didn't disappoint either.
We loved the friendly staff and the chef/owner (?) who came out to chat after the meal. Great atmosphere and incredible food.

Cozy Restaurant, Classy Servers and Fantastic Food. Easily our favorite restaurant in town. I am still not sure why I waited this long to try Red Ox Inn since it's been around for such a long time. The food is probably the best International dishes we've had in recent years and we've been to a lot of places. We ordered the steak tartare, the infamous duck entree, steak flank, and chocolate brownie for dessert. From start to end, we were completely blown away and since then I have not stopped recommending Red Ox. We will definitely be back.
A Sure-Fire Hit!. This is one of my favourite places in Edmonton for fine dining! The restaurant is small and out of the way, but has a cozy ambiance and excellent service! Though the menu prices look a bit steep, the value is reflected in all the dishes, and all the meals I have enjoyed have been pure pleasure!

Amazing food. When you first arrive at this location you are surprised by how the outside doesn't look like it would have 5 star food but the food was amazing. We tried the porkbelly appetizer. My husband had the phesant and I had the lamb the amazing chocolate dessert. It was worth every penny. The service was exceptional and the food outstanding. Will definitely go again. It's nice to dress up but you can also go casual and still feel you are in a intimate atmosphere!
Pork belly heaven. This is the best meal I've ever had. I started off with the pork belly and despite it only being the size of a deck of cards I ate it slowly. After one bite you stop in your tracks and savour it. The crispiness and softness combined with the detailed flavour was overwhelming. The orange sauce can remind you of typical asian food but the quality was much better than that. After that I ate the marinated steak with mushrooms, (mysterious) tasty black sauce, and onions. Cooked at medium the steak was just perfect. The dill and mint really added to the experience. Add the potato concoction and it was heaven. I tried my friends duck which had a similar winning combo of crispy and soft along with a light smoky flavour. The dessert with white chocolate bread pudding, berry compote, and crème anglaise just nailed home what a great chef they have there. 5/5
This place is phenomenal. I'm completely enamoured with this place. The food was great, our waiter was very cool and the ambiance is very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Also, try the beer from San Francisco, it was delicious and I've never seen it anywhere else.

Tasty Food, Slow/Weird Service. So we enjoyed everything we ate that evening, but the service was a bit slow. We were left to review the menu for what felt like an eternity, and by the time they came back for our drink order, we had had enough time to decide on the food as well. Too bad they didn't tell us their wine menu had changed up front, as we had to regroup a bit and choose another option since our first choice was no longer available. Though it felt like they were still trying to convince us to buy another $50 bottle even though we insisted that if they didn't have our first choice, we'd rather go with a wine by the glass, and not be stuck with a whole bottle of something we didn't enjoy. The server also talked too much, like WAAAY too much. Our table of four got a detailed, in depth explanation of every single item we ordered, a run down of ingredients, preparation and cooking methods. Least to say we could have done with less detail as we had to sit through this for all three courses. It didn't help the server was a bit monotone and not very enthusiastic. So 3 courses and 2 1/2 hours or so later, I'd probably return for the food but ask the server to refrain from giving me a play by play of my food.

Well Played Red Ox Inn.. I finally had the opportunity to check out the Red Ox Inn. I don't even know where to start. The location is a quite out of the way spot and I must admit I thought I was going the wrong way to get there because it is right in the middle of a residential neighborhood, don't worry though as there is plenty of parking. My wife and I were the first seating of the night and we received a very warm welcome, we were shown to our table where water was already waiting for us (they do this just before resos come in). They have a very extensive wine selection for room that hosts a modest 12 tables. We ordered our wine and proceeded to survey the menu. The menu is not jam packed with items and it is a good thing because we had a hard time choosing what we wanted because everything sounded so good. We decided to start with the steak tartar and pork belly appetizer. Both were good I liked the steak tartar a bit more while my wife loved the pork belly. The great thing about these apps is they are the perfect size. I find that many restaurants over do it on size portions for something that is just supposed to be a starter. On to the Entrees. My wife went with the flank steak that was done to about a medium with some very interesting sides. I decided to go with the pork and man was it good, this was the first time in years where I have been out taken a bite of my food and literally said "wow". The food was a delight and I would go back in a second. I would however offer this one caution- If you do not have an open mind when it comes to culinary pairings this place may be a little too exciting for you. I loved the interesting unique food combinations that created wonderful flavor profiles. Keep it up Red Ox Inn. (ps- I do not think that they take walk up tables so you may want to reserve, Not 100% sure).
Excellent!. Comfortable atmosphere, great dining, great service. I went here with my in-laws and me and my father n law ordered the lamb. The lamb was very good. I always have it medium rare. My husband ordered the chicken which he said was pretty good. They even let us serve our own cake at our table.

The A lot better then Eden ( A 5 star restaurant in Banff) We're glad that we made a reservation. The line up was out to the door. Hightly Recommended.
There were eight people in our group. The food and wine was excellent. For the price we paid, a little more food on the plate would be appropriate. Starches like rice and potatoes are cheap, and ensure the customer is satisfied.

Wonderful meal. Went on Sunday evening for our anniversary. Great choice. Very good service from Abe. Beet salad outstanding, tuna confit very good. Butternut squash ravioli was heavenly. Hubby loved his strip loin--pepper crusted with potato puree, balsamic reduction and tomato jam. Earl Grey pot au creme for dessert. Stuffed and happy at departure. We'll be back.
There's a reason. Although it has literally been 30 years since we last dined at the Red Ox in ( I couldn't tell you why so long between visits ), there's a reason the restaurant has been there that long and had such success.
To start, the staff are wonderful. Friendly, knowledgable and present when you need them and not when you don't. Nothing cloying, snobby or unctuous about the service here!!
The food is fabulous. Our appetizers of steak tartare and scallops were beautifully prepared and delicious, the main courses of lamb loin and duck breast were first rate. Everything was delicious, properly prepared and beautifully presented.
It definitely will not be 30 years until our next visit!!!

Best service anywhere, excellent food. I think a large part of the reason that the Red Ox Inn has become an Edmonton institution is because of the professional wait staff, who obviously do this as a career, not just the job of the moment. They provide very efficient and thoughtful service, keep you informed and all without being the least bit pretentious or annoying. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the food's pretty damn good too. I went with three people and we tried a sampling of desserts - I highly recommend the chocolate cake and the bread pudding. Also, don't miss out on the goat's cheese salad if you like goat cheese - it's sublime. There is a lovely hot nugget of goat cheese that pairs beautifully with the cranberry and the bacon in the salad. I could eat this every day.
Great ambiance here, good service and the food is superb. I prefer to come during the week when it's not super busy as it is small and you can get rushed on the weekend.
Good deal for Fork Fest.. Just went here for Fork Fest. The deal this year was to choose 3 courses from the regular menu for $45. I liked that this allowed some freedom, and it meant that my husband and I could each try different things. I chose the Prawns appetizer, Pork entree and Warm Chocolate Cake dessert. Hubby got Green Eggs and Ham, Duck and Pecan Pie.
My prawns were excellent. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, perhaps a touch on the salty side. However, I wasn't so excited about the pork. The seasonings and accompaniments (gnocci, parsnips and green beans) were good, but I found the pork itself to be overcooked. The chocolate cake was ok, but nothing more special than what I could make at home. My husband really enjoyed all of his dishes, especially the duck.
Overall, I was happy with the meal because it was a deal. If I had to pay full price, I may not have been as impressed. I would try it again though, because some of their other menu items looked great as well.
I’ve dined at quite a few places within Edmonton, and I must say Red Ox Inn did not disappoint! Flavours that stimulates your taste buds, combinations of textures and from silky smooth to crispy crunch. I must say I really enjoyed the ambience this restaurant offered as well as the thought and passion the chef and his colleagues put into this menu. Along with a gorgeous wine selection. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu which also added to the overall dinning experience. For the quality of food offered the price do complements the menu.
Very well executed food. Probably one of the best, if not the best beef tartare I've had in town. Meat and fish were both cooked to perfection, and everything was plated very nicely.
Service is very good as well.
Favourite dishes were the tartare and the entrees. The nice charred and crispy lamb fat was a nice touch, and I haven't seen it done anywhere else.
Been here a few times and an amazing experience each time. The owner Frank was extremely accomodating with our dinner party and offered a perfect dinning experience. Food was amazing and service was equally perfect too. Cannot say enough about the level of quality, freshness and perfect portion sizes

The Red Ox Inn is a cozy local restaurant with plenty of charm and individuality. The entire menu looks and tastes delicious, and, impressively, all of the entrees boast a highly unique flavor identity- each of the dishes I sampled evoqued different feelings and tastes. While the cost is on the higher side for dining, the dishes deserve every penny for their creative and clever composition and flavor.
One of the best and most consistent restaurants in the city. They modernize their menu to keep current, and the experience is always excellent. Happy to also see local craft beer make the list! This place is an Edmonton gem.
Spent my anniversary here earlier this week and we were delighted with the service and the meal. The food had excellent flavour and presentation and our waitress was friendly and knew the menu exceptionally well.
A lovely place for a family birthday with flavours to suit everyone! Creative salad appetizers, filling entrees with just enough room for dessert - my favorite is the ice cream sandwich and roasted strawberries! May I have seconds?
Even with the small food menu - there is a variety of food. The food was amazing. No doubt about that. Our server was pretty friendly. It gets pretty cold in there, as it is a small place and you feel the fish of cold air whenever the door opened. Wish they spent a little more attention in the atmosphere of the restaurant as it’s still very important for a dining experience. We also had a very loud table beside us which made the whole place super loud for a small place.
