The Marc is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years now for our anniversary and on other special occasions and we always have such a great experience. Not only is the food incredible, but the staff and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. We have never been so impressed with the level of class and service that The Marc staff provide. The environment of the restaurant is very intimate and relaxing, while in the summer, you can choose to sit out on the more open, string-lit patio. It's the perfect restaurant to come to share a bottle of wine, eat incredible food (the cornish hen is a favourite, and my boyfriend can't stop talking about the pork belly special and the steak), and of course, enjoy some delicious dessert after! We highly recommend the donuts :) This is by far our favourite restaurant in the city and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Totally amazing experience from the owner opening the door and greeting you to the food which was fantastic. Mushrooms on toast to die for . .. our server was ever so pleasant and the desert pairing of lemon tart with Moscato was divine. Five Star in my book.

One of the best steaks I've ever had the pleasure of devouring (haha it was that good). Amazing service as our servers continually made sure our drinks were full and made us aware of the varieties of specials and drinks available. Bartender made me the famous James Bond drink!. Can't wait to come back again :)
Oh my gosh!! Everything about this place was perfect, such an amazing balance of class and elegance with comfort and relaxation. You don’t need to wear a suit or dress but if you want to you’re not out of place. The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, they explain the menu so well you have a hard time picking what to eat. The featured gin sour was refreshing and borderline dangerous with how quickly it can go down. From apps to mains everything was amazing, you can tell the food is prepared with love and the flavours are incredible. We would highly recommend The Marc to anyone and everyone.
The Marc provided my wife and I with an absolutely amazing anniversary dinner at home. It was delicious. I'm looking forward to doing it again.
I ordered and picked up the food without any hassle. Eating at home my wife and I didn't need to rock paper scissors who was the designated driver, we didn't have to get a babysitter, and we didn't have to worry about parking downtown. Maybe best of all, because we made Kraft Dinner at home, we didn't have to hear our kids complain about having to eat absolutely delicious food in the restaurant.
An absolutely fantastic dinner. We tried a plethora of items on the menu and all were phenomenal. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. The menu isn’t quite “authentic” French, but it certainly has a lusty French influence. Highly recommended!

Elegant atmosphere with a nice variety or cocktails and wines. We came for lunch and I appreciated that the food wasn't extremely rich or heavy. The service was great. The flavors of the foods could have been a little more complex for the prices though.
How have we not been here before? It's just lovely. The service, the atmosphere, the food, and the price was just amazing. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the escargot served on a bone yum! I had the feature which was pork and gnocchi, to die for ...and my partner had short ribs with noodles. Both delicious 😋 we will be back. Oh yeah and did I me the the price. No complaints from us!
