I really liked this place. We had breakfast there once and then went back for breakfast the next day. Service was friendly, food was very good and portions were big enough for brunch. They have a coffee bar with 3 roast options and you can help herself and refill at will. There was tea, too, but I didn't pay too much attention to it.
I didn't care a lot for the sausage patty, to be honest.
But my husband ordered the lumberjack breakfast and it came with a house sausage that was amazing!
Awesome spot.. great service.. food was fresh and delicious.. coffee ☕ is great..... I had the North country breakfast... Homemade sausage patties.. yummy.. hubby had the Muskoka Scrambled omelette. Very tasty... It's a great go to spot..

Welcoming service, our waitress was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Food was excellent! There's also a "menu on the go" option if you would like to grab food to take out. Great fast quality food if you need a meal to go on a hike or if you're picnicking in the area. The restaurant also sells cookies, muffins and other treats in the back. We bought cookies and they were delicious, seemed homemade too! Would go again!
Not bad as the portions are decent. A bit pricey but it’s up North as we say. The service was great and it’s hit a nice patio. If you are hungry hit this place up.
The Moose Café is a typical Canadian cafe, cosy and with nice decoration. I came here 3 times for breakfast and loved it. I can recommend the veggie omelette and pancakes! The staff is very kind and attentive. Looking forward to come back!
Dropped by for lunch on the way to Algonquin, had a great time! Service was friendly, and food was fairly priced. Menu was simple but had a good enough variety for everyone. The potato salad side was so good that we asked if we could buy some to go! Food took a little long to prepare, but this could be due to the fact that it was near closing time. Highly recommend stopping by if you had the chance!
Good homemade foods. Free coffee refills. We choose the daily lunch menu: clam chowder soup and quiche with ham and asparagus, which was really good. After that we also had some small desserts.
Afterwards we had a nice chat with the waitress.
Excellent pitstop right on Hwy 60. Really clean, modern roomy feel. Delicious food. Super friendly staff. We had the place to ourselves during our visit passing thru the area. Definitely stopping here again on the return leg of our roadtrip. They have the best breakfast special! Peameal on a bun with melted cheese on the outside, maple syrup, apple sauce, apples, cinnamon & homefries. You must try it 😁
