What a wonderful experience! We had a big party (23ppl) and our server was kind, patient, knowledgeable and didn't rush us even though the place was packed, loud and stresses were high. The food was outstanding! We had the Meat Plate and bread to start and I had the schnitzel and spatzle - yummy! Must have the mushroom gravy with it. It made the meal! We had a view of the backyard garden where fresh veggies and herbs are growing and the smoker was slowcooking tomorrow's lunch brisket and pork belly. I need to go back!! What a treat!

My wife and I just had dinner at Betula for the first time tonight. We had wanted to check this place out as it is close to us and it seems very busy every time we drive past it. We can see what all the fuss is about! We had the most wonderful dinner! My wife had the rainbow trout which was cooked to perfection and the crunchy rice that the fish sat on was unique and flavourful. The Heritage schnitzel that I had was fantastic! Again, perfectly cooked and plentiful. The Victory Garden Coleslaw was delicious in an Asian vinagrette and the coffee to finish the meal superb. Our server told us it was from Vintage Coffee Roasters here in Hamilton. The service we received was excellent and our server was knowledgeable in the menu. So glad we tried Betula and we are definitely coming back. We can see why it is so popular! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

My husband and I called at the last minute last night and managed to score a seat at the Chef’s table which gave us front row seats to the kitchen! I wish we would’ve taken photos but we were enjoying the food too much! The food was amazing, as was the wine( which is tough to sell me on, haha!) & the staff was awesome! We even got to chat with Chef Mike! Our server Rochelle( forgive me if I’ve spelled that wrong.)was the best! Great night out & we can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend checking this place out!
