Standout meal at Alderlea Farm Cafe in Duncan, BC, on our way to the ferry. Highlights among our top-notch selections on a terrific menu were the bone broth soup, fresh garden greens, chicken pot pie, and strawberry rhubarb pie (we tried 3/4 of the deserts), with a delicious 2016 red from Emandare Vineyards and some soda pop from Victoria, BC- triple yum, Katie!
This is my favorite eating place on Southern Vancouver Island, and that being said, I like many of our restaurants. But the quality of the food, land, people and view here are unique and food also for the soul. Thank you, Farmer John and Cook Katy for your hard working, brilliantly visioned gifts to the community and to the land!
Simply a piece of heaven. Food is always a delicacy and the staff/owners are very friendly. Truly dedicated to the service! I would recommend this place to everyone!!
