Good basic for a quick lunch or dinner!
We ordered two different types of steak. Each steak was very salty and didn’t have much unique flavour.
When I eat at Cactus I normally stick to the basic, however I thought I’d try something more upscale. I would not recommend the steak unless salty and bland flavour is your thing.
Our service was good and the restaurant was clean.
Stick to the simpler foods and you’ll be fine.
Delicious food as always. We stopped by to treat our Mum to Mothers Day lunch and I grabbed the sushi and lemon grass noodle salad with prawns off their happy hour menu.
Even at a discounted price I felt like the salad was a bit overpriced. 25 dollars for a salad that doesn’t even fill me up halfway in my opinion falls a bit short.
I would highly recommend the Creole Chicken or Steak Frites any day though!
Since the service was impeccable and I’ve enjoyed nearly 100 amazing meals here over the course of 2 decades (since it opened basically) I’m still giving a 5 star review. This visit was my most recent which is why I’m posting but 99% of the time I’m always satisfied with the food and service.
Great service unbelievable service, amazing burger the feenie . However, was a little disappointed on the portion of fries, and there was a major cold draft on my back. The beer was amazing, great food great price but was a cold restaurant. Even though the fries are portioned its still small in comparison to the burger. I talked to the manager ario and Kaleb and destiny were da bomb amazing staff and the kitchen can't forget
It was so fun! We went there for a quick lunch and ordered spicy tofu bowl and chicken teriyaki bowl. I must say both were super amazing and so delicious. Like 9/10 for Thai relatable taste.
Sangria and Smokey margarita was also great.
And harleen, our server was too good and generous.
Came in with my friends today to celebrate my birthday, we were welcomed my the staff at the front desk. Prawn crunch rolls are the best if you’re having sushi. Thanks for being a gracious host and our waiter jaf was amazing.
The three of each had a different meal and they were all excellent. I had the Steak Frites and it was tender and cooked a perfect medium-rare. Drinks were great and our server, Vani, was exceptional with a pleasant personality and a nice sense of humour.
The team was so great, from the host, to the server, and the folks bringing us our food/drink. Everything also tasted very fresh and delicious! They’re always consistent which I appreciate with a dine in experience. I haven’t had an amazing service experience (from all the restaurants I frequent) in a very long time. Cactus Delta is definitely on the top of our list now 😊
Me and my friend got lucky to have Leila as our server. We came so late on a Thursday and had such a lovely chat with her. Still, we never felt rushed and we were all sharing stories as servers and she talked so highly about the company. It’s always nice to hear restaurants take such lovely care of their staff!! Will request her next time for sure.
My boyfriend and I went out tonight for a celebratory dinner and were served by Daniel. The food was great, and the service was amazing. A huge shout out to Daniel for making our night great.
Delicious, lovely atmosphere (albeit very busy! Glad we reserved a table ahead of time). They were playing 90's hip hop songs which tickled me.
Came here with my partner and we both got steaks. Hers was the 4 mushroom one (not pictured) and I got the peppercorn steak. Whoo! 8oz was plenty for each of us! She got hers cooked rare, I got mine medium rare. They were cooked perfectly, and the demi glace on them was 10/10.
We ordered the spicy chicken for the appetizer... soooo delicious. The chicken was super tender.
And last we split a peanut butter chocolate crunch bar for dessert. Rich, but the richness was cut by the ice cream. Totally worth it... probably my favorite thing I ate tonight I can't lie.
We will definitely be back some time! Just not too often as it's not exactly the cheapest joint around haha. Either way, it's great in here and I appreciate how they check vaccination status before letting you in!
