This place is a gem. The coffee and all the baking are amazing. Every time we drive thru we make sure to stop there. I always try something new and it is always awesome. The service is friendly and it’s always clean.
Love this place!. Never a bad day, lovely food, great service..... Food for everyone, Gluten Free, Dairy Free & Nut Free..... Really love the fact i can have a yummy coffee even though i can't have milk.... And my daughter loves the fact she can choose what gluten free treat she can have instead of be lumbered with the 'only' option like most places... :-)

The Sweetest Place in the Mountains!!. Looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth?? Look no farther than the Cinnamon Bear Bakery & Cafe. Sure to please that craving for somethjing sweet and sticky good!!
Superb bakery. The interesting thing about this bakery and cafe is that the all the fresh baked treats including the cinnamon buns are not overly sweet like the kind you get in the bakeries in the big supermarkets. The cinnamon buns have just the right amount of stickiness, soft insides with a bit of crunch on the outside - all without a cloying sweetness that spoils many a cinnamon bun. The whole wheat cinnamon buns are a must try!
Fantastic baking. I remember walking here from high school during lunch hours and having the most unhealthy lunches imaginable, usually consisting of a selection irresistible baked goods. For example, absolutely the most delicious chocolate and carrot cakes I have ever and will ever taste, grizzly bear cookies with everything you could possibly think to put in a cookie crammed inside, morning glory muffins to fill a person up for most of the day, scones both savoury and sweet, and of course the perfect cinnamon bun... I could go on and on.
They of course also offer soups and sandwiches made from fresh baked bread, which while wonderful offerings for your typical lunch, were not the reason I traipsed to the Cinnamon Bear.
I go thru the Crows Nest Pass about 4 times per year. It's a beautiful drive, but with two small children, it can be a bit long. A regular stop for us to break up the drive is the Cinnamon Bear Cafe and Bakery. It is not only a great stop for the kids, the coffee, sandwiches, chili, soup and baking are awesome! They have four varieties of fresh hot Kicking Horse coffee always on, along with the barrista type espresso drinks, but you're going to do great with just the plain old 'joe'. The baking and pastries are great,but my fave is the cinnamon bun. Always a fresh batch coming out of the ovens. The chili with corn bread is my regular meal, but the rest of the family repeatedly have various soup and sandwich combos. You can't go wrong here. Lots of parking, quick service, awesome food and great view.
Excellent! Definitely stop in!. On the south side of highway # 3. just as you enter Coleman from the east.... Excellent /exceptional baked goods to eat in or to go, fresh sandwiches and soups, and coffees of all sorts all are excellent. The view of the mountains doesn't hurt either....I"d live at this place if I lived in the CNP....lucky for my waistline I just get to visit.
