Udder guys have licorice completely nailed! I've been ruined for any other brand of ice cream for life now. Unfortunately, "let's go for ice cream" means a ferry trip. Simply the best ice cream I've ever eaten.
Had a wonderful time with my family this Sunday in this store. So many candies and the ice cream is the best I have ever had . Gracious Owner and amazing friendly staff.

Had a great time here with my family. I'm on the lactose side but I'm known to indulge 🤤. I was looking at the candies and how many they had from my childhood that are pretty hard to find elsewhere. The wife and kids all grabbed some cones, various flavors of ice cream and different color cones and styles like waffle cones etc. The ice cream is made locally so it's great to support the locals. You can enjoy the amazing taste whe looking at some of the best views around. Parking can get a little hectic but it's definitely worth it and yes, I did have a taste of each and I can say without a doubt, the best ice cream I've had in ages, if not ever. Highly recommended 👌 👍 we will be back on next trip out this way. 😀
Who knew that an unassuming ice cream shop in Cowichan Bay would have the best ice cream I've ever tasted?
Well, I'm impressed. Met the owner and ice cream creator here today and he let us try another concoction he is as working on. A beer infused ice cream, and it was delicious.
I can safely say that the chocolate fudge nut is the best ice cream that I have ever had, and that includes the famous Cows Creamery in PEI.
We will absolutely be coming back every chance we get. Truly, thank you for making something that tastes like it was made from the heart. I applaud your devotion to your craft.
Honestly the best ice cream I have ever had to date. I have been getting a scoop or a pint for almost two decades. I live in a different city now and every time I come back to Cow Bay I buy at least one pint, but usually three. I have tried various other premium and “homemade” ice cream shops and none are ever as good (gelato in Florence, premium shops in Toronto, etc...). The price may be up there to some folks but to me it is commensurate with the quality. Obviously not for everyone but for me I don’t think I’ll ever find better.
Soooo good! Coffee espresso is my favorite but all of their flavours are on par! So good, good service, nice patio with swing benches outside to enjoy your ice cream! Cow Bay is a nice area to walk around as well.

Great candy shop for all those hard to find candy from when you were young and the ice cream is all made in house it very very good mmmmmmmm mmmmmmm good. This is one of the best candy and ice cream shops I've found on the island! It's great or should I say udderly great.
Lots of 80’s candies and ice cream. Covid protocol is no more than 8 at a time max inside. We had the cherry, orange and vanilla ice cream…. The flavours were ok but not the best i have had. Very sweet and a bit sour. Nice little bayside town!
