Went there with friends few weeks ago. Atmosphere was very bright and festive, live music reminded about times throw back. Well. I would say food could be better as it was ok only if you drink in my case. Wish new owners to develop it in the best place to try Russian cuisine.
This place is awesome! I've had good food every time I've gone. My friends and I like to go on Friday and Saturdays when there is live music. The customer service is great too. Once I thought I lost a bracelet here and the owner searched the place trying to find it for me. Another time I came here with my young son when it was not busy and the owner turned on the dance floor lights for him so he could dance and play around. My son had a wonderful time and I was really impressed at the kindness of the owner (I think his name is Nikolai?). Anyways, I love this place and have been going here for a couple of years and will continue to go. My Grandmother was Russian and it is the only place I can get good, authentic Russian food now!
Our family recently went to Restaurant Irina for my birthday dinner. The experience was wonderful! We ordered a range of dishes from their menu, and all were just excellent! The personalized service from the owners of the restaurant was also much appreciated. We would highly recommend this restaurant, and will be going again soon!
We had a great experience at Irina European Cuisine on a Friday night. The food tasted authentic and delicious, the owners are super friendly and it was fun listening to the singer. I came with my parents who said they'll come back with their friends soon.
Really enjoyed the food! Pelmeny was delicious, and the sauce on the cabbage roll was really good. My husband loved his beef Stroganoff. We went on a weeknight, so didn't get to try the live entertainment. Friendly and helpful owners. A bit expensive for an average weeknight family dinner (thus the four stars not five). but Groupon helped. We will visit again for a date night, or for lunch specials.

Hi my wife and I and my brother-in-law and his wife went to the Russian House restaurant. I love it from the very first time I stepped in. My wife and I, especially love Russian foods. I thought the food was out of this world, it was so great. The waiter was absolutely cordial. I am definitely going back there, whenever my wife and I happen to come to Vancouver. We are from Victoria. I had a chance to eat a herring under fur coat salad. It was my first experience having this herring under fur coat salad. I enjoyed the borsch, it was so good.
VERY filling dishes, we left feeling sick in a good way we had to walk it off before our movie. They had karaoke as well and the decor is very beautiful. It seems like a really great place to have a family gathering or birthday.
