Absolutely perfect coffee!! I am a serious coffee addict and have been all over the world sampling some of the best coffee houses in my travels.
Pilgrim Coffee house's coffee quality is up there with Paul Basset's Cafe in Seoul, S.Korea.
I don't think you can get much better coffee in Victoria than this in my opinion!
Speaking of food, quality wise the food served here is excellent as well. The sandwiches are amazing. I highly recommend the hippy or the tuna melt for non "red-meat" eaters. :)

An oasis from the hustle and bustle and cars and concrete of West Shore.
Lots of character. You'd think we were on Saltspring or in Fernwood...
They serve Drumroaster Coffee, local baked goods and made-to-order sandwiches. Lots of people coming and going, from uni students to hikers on their way to the west coast. Many just chilling at a table enjoying a mug of coffee and treat. The patio space in summer is nice and zen.

When I stopped by, musician Jesse Roper was hanging out chatting with locals, so yes you know it's a cool place... :)
Amazing service and lovely coffee! The owner is so friendly and they have amazing FRESH baked goods. I have to get the raspberry dark chocolate scone when it's there!
Pilgrim is an amazing place to grab a drink or food. It's busy without being too crowded, and there is always great music playing. The in house baked goods are delicious!

A Great coffee house!. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and the location provides a very comfortable ambience. They have some wonderful inhouse gluten-free baking which is perfect for us, and the coffee is the best in the city. You cannot find a better selection of roasted coffee (Drumroaster) anywhere else other than in Cobble Hill (where it is roasted). Try the the zero-defects roast for a truly great coffee experience. Well done Pilgrim!
New and Awesome. I was really impressed with Pilgrim, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. I am also a vegetarian and they had a good selection for me ranging from vegan pretzels to the hippie panini.
I ended up getting the Hippie panini and a bowl of there home made roasted red pepper soup. It was absolutely delicious! This is my new favourite coffee shop! 5 out of 5!
We stopped by for lunch and coffee as we were biking and exploring the galloping goose trail. This was a perfect pit stop for us as we needed more food and caffeine to keep going. We had several coffees, a couple of sandwiches, and a scone. The shop also sells teas, soda, and kombucha if coffee is not your thing. We loved the outdoor seating as well since we had our folding bikes. The area is covered so you can stay cool and sun free if desired. I would definitely stop here again!
Beautiful shop with excellent coffee and very friendly staff. My 4 year old loved an iced rooibos and the staff made her feel special. Our coffees were excellent and put all of the chains to shame.
coming from Vancouver. a good place to hang out after going to Hatley Castle. decor is really nice. staff cleans the place really well. washroom is fairly clean after the whole days use of customers.
got hot chocolate, it's milk chocolate base so it's not my fancy. i like cocoa. so it doesn't taste anything special. i have not tried the tea nor their coffee and treats.
will update my review if ever we come back here again. for now it's a very good hangout patio place. their leather seat is very very comfortable and squishy if you are into that kind of seating.
I have been to the Pilgrim Coffee House several times. The baking has always been excellent, and they have always had a gluten-free offering as well. As well as very pleasant staff, the coffee house has both indoor and outdoor seating - for small and large groups. I would not hesitate to go again, to enjoy the atmosphere, and the reminder that ‘…not all who wander, are lost…’

Pilgrim Coffee House truly deserves a glowing 5-star review! The experience was exceptional from start to finish. The aroma of fresh beans greeted me upon entering, setting the tone for what turned out to be a delightful visit. The talented barista crafted a cup of coffee that was nothing short of perfection, showcasing their expertise and dedication to their craft.
The cozy ambience of the cafe provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying my coffee and indulging in the delicious pastries they offer. The attention to detail in the decor and layout created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Adding to the positive experience was the server who was not only attentive and efficient but also incredibly kind and friendly. Their genuine warmth contributed to making my time at Pilgrim Coffee House even more enjoyable.
All in all, I can't recommend Pilgrim Coffee House enough. From the fresh beans to the talented barista, charming ambience, delectable pastries, and the kind server, every aspect of my visit was top-notch. It's a place where I'll happily return for a wonderful coffee experience again and again.

Incredibly fabulous coffee and food stuffs. Haven't felt this comfortable in a coffee shop in a long time. The music playing quietly in the background is relaxing. An excellent and calm mood in this establishment. Staff are personable and accomplished.
One of the very few good coffee shop in the Colwood/Langford area. This place brew coffee beans from local roaster Drumroaster, so the coffee is fresh and tasteful.
There is also a great selections of housemade bakeries: delicious muffins (even a gluten-free options), loafs, and croissants, as well as lunch options, like sausage rolls and sandwiches.
It worth the stop if you are driving from Victoria on your way to explore the region!
Coffee and staff were amazing! Wish they had more vegan and gluten free options for food.
