One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Calgary area. I’ve eaten everywhere at all the other “best places”, this place is legitimate. Try the Curry Beef Soup with Vermicelli (30B) or Stir Fried Curry Beef with Lemongrass Sate on Vermicelli (37C), although you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
We go regularly from Calgary to Cochrane for Tony's curry soup. It's ALWAYS delicious. Try the homemade wontons too. Lemongrass noodles are also yummy. We like to support this great family business.
Delicious food. 30c curry chicken and beef soup is fantastic, it's always fast and hot. Want something light? Try the chicken and shrimp salad rolls, with delicious peanut dipping sauce.
What else can be said about this great restaurant, the food has better flavour than the other Vietnamese restaurants in Cochrane. If you haven't been to "Tony's" what's the hold up?! Go there right now!
I've been coming here for years. Tony is great, food is great, and the service is great. Best Vietnamese coffee bar none. Serving size is always huge on all dishes.
37 C. I have been living in Cochrane for 9 years and have been enjoying Tony's 37C (Spicy beef on Vermicelli noodle) ever since.
Always Fast, Always Fresh, Hot green Tea served at your table within moments of arriving. Great for takeout or sitting in.
Always fantastic....... Very fast too..... Tony is a real laugh...... Number 30. The curried chicken soup is to die for. Always busy. If only all restaurants in Cochrane were as good as this.

Owner Tony, never lets us down!. Pho Anh Huyen II is a “must” to check out! Consistently fantastic and certainly with that small town feel! Always welcoming, the owner Tony, has a fantastically inviting nature into his restaurant and wonderful food at great prices! I’ve been coming here for years as this place is tough to beat!
My parents and I walked into the restaurant for lunch and there was Tony smiling away ready to have a joke or a chat and a laugh! We picked a table which were all neatly lined up, with a minimal-looking décor and felt at home right away. The aroma smelled fantastic and my tastebuds were tingling!
As my parents and I have been coming here since it pretty much opened, we didn’t even need to look at the menu. A lot of the times Tony or the staff knows what we’ll be having! Such great customer service!
When the waitress came by to ask us what we’d like to order, it was just a formality because when my mother ordered the Veggie Stir Fry ($8.75), she answered “I know, I know” and had a laugh. My father went with one of his two favourites and ordered the Curry Vegetable Soup (which I believe was $8). My turn and I ordered my favourite Won Ton Chicken Vegetable Noodle Soup ($9).
Not long after, our food arrived and it all smelled amazing! My mother’s veggie & tofu stir fry was steaming, yet still al dente. Large chunks of tofu were easily spotted and when consumed, had picked up the intensity of the flavourful sauce.
My father’s curry soup was definitely the most fragrant of all the dishes and had a taste to match! With a bit of spicy heat this is one great soup for any cold day! It was also filled with tremendous amounts of veggies like broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, not to mention a lot of noodles!
My won ton soup was fantastic, as per usual! Delicious, rich broth filled with a generous amount of pork won tons as well as some additional vermicelli noodles. I also had some large, tender pieces of chicken which went well with the still al dente broccoli, cauliflower and carrot! Not only is this soup a feast, it’s good for the soul!
After consuming our meals, we felt comfortably full and spoiled because of the vast amounts of great quality food and ingredients that Tony puts into all his meals! Always consistently fantastic Pho Anh Huyen II is the restaurant to go to whether you’re a local or a visitor, you will not be disappointed!
