Ordered 2 Pans, one Works one Spicy Italian. Got it delivered, Spicy Italian was burnt to inedibility. Not even mad. The reason? Prompt, professional response to remake and redeliver on a snowy, obviously busy, Saturday night. Thanks PJ'S!
My wife and I were not happy with our delivery order on Friday night…BUT received a very professional and satisfactory outcome from Store Manager Tara.
I called in an order for delivery. The person answering the phone was a bit nervous and obviously new to the job. We asked about the specials and the person on the phone struggled to explain them to us, so we ordered 2 mediums pizzas with garlic knots and a 2-liter bottle of pop.
My pizza was delivered nice and hot and good as ordered and my wife’s pizza was delivered nice and hot, somewhat like ordered but missing a few requested changes and at almost double the cost of my pizza.
The next morning, I called the store and spoke to the Store Manager Tara who was professional and quick to fix the problem. I told Tara that I was not happy with our order and asked if she would help me. After explaining the highlights of the mishap to Tara, she pulled up my bill, did a quick review and then took full responsibility for the mistake. Tara apologized and asked me to please order one more time over the next few weeks and to give them a chance to fix the mistake. Tara offered me a good will gesture that would be added to my profile (attached to my phone number) that would be added to my next order.
All in all, I think that the gesture that Tara extended to me for my troubles was more than fair and we look forward to placing our next order with Papa Johns in Cobourg.
