Georgian Bay Club

A fantastic course. Not surprising that it's rated in the top 100 scoregolf courses. It was in immaculate shape. Great views of Georgian Bay from some of the holes. The 3rd hole par 3 is the signature hole but I think that the 13th and 14th are just as beautiful.

I recently visited Canada for the first time. Half way through my trip, (unbeknown to me) my boyfriend had planned to propose to me, at the Georgian Bay Club, in front of our friends and family. We arrived to the Golf club at 6pm (one hour later than originally planned, due to me taking a long time getting ready) and decided to take some photographs, at one of the Golf holes. It was clear there was a storm coming and so we decided it would be better to take photos sooner, rather than later. As we made our way through the Golf club everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly, and couldn’t do enough to assist us. We were greeted by Paul, a very happy, friendly man who would be driving us on the Golf Buggy to the holes, so we could get a nice photograph. At this point I had no idea that Paul (along with everyone else at the Golf club) was aware of the upcoming proposal. Despite us running late, and the horn due to be blown (due to the storm), Paul made very friendly conversation, and did not give anything away. We arrived at the 14th hole, and had a few photographs taken. My boyfriend and I looked at photographs and Paul had done a great job, capturing us, along with the stunning background. My boyfriend asked him to take a few more, so we had a good selection. Seconds later my boyfriend was down on one knee popping the question. Of course my answer was yes, and we thanked Paul for his photographs. Paul had also captured everything on video. Which I will treasure forever. As we were driven back to the Golf club to celebrate with family and friends, we tried to thank Paul and give him a tip for all his help during this important occasion. Not only did he refuse the tip, but he stayed over an hour later than his shift, to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The story of my proposal, is one I will cherish forever, and Paul played a huge role in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Which was such a reassurance to my fiancé.

Wonderful golf course, excellent food.

Well what can one say about the Premier golf club in the area other than: great design, superb condition, spectacular views, and a very good test of golf (cant believe how much longer it has become in three years!) It was like a "coming home" experience for me

A beautiful ly layed out course with gently rolling fairways, fantastic greens, breathtaking views and overall a rock-star service. Bunkers were all too keen to accept my ball!
