Everything was fine except for the fries.we expected a better quality fries from a local restaurant. But otherwise the Seafood Chowder was really delish and the salmon and Halibut were perfectly cooked.
It was great restaurant in the Newfoundland. We were there during our trip from Cornerbrook to St. John’s and really enjoyed. Don’t forget to test the mooseburger and salmon fish. Nice place, nice people and delicious food.
Food was exactly as described in menu, service was a little slow. Contrary to other reviews I found time from ordering to eating very reasonable. If you're looking for authentic Newfoundland dining room experience, this is your place.
Myself, my mother and my son just had supper here today, and I am EXTREMELY impressed! The service was great, friendly, fast and accurate. And the food was AMAZINGGGGGG!! This is "hands down" the best food I've ever had at a restaurant 😋🙌😍 The Seafood Linguine is a MUST TRY. Their Alfredo sauce was phenomenal, so good that I never needed to add my Let’s Get Alfredolicious Salt to it. All 3 of us ordered something different and we all agree, it's the best ever!!!! I cannot give this place enough stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Massive portions of home cooked meals and friendly servers! We had the cold plate special platter and the land and sea platter. Cold plates were great and land and sea platter had perfectly cooked home fries and the battered deep fried fish and seasoned chicken was excellent!
Your typical home-style Newfie restaurant. We had cod cheeks, club house, liver and onions, and the cheesecake. The home fries were perfect 👌 No complaints.
