As an ethnic Chinese, I didn’t have much expectations for this westernized Chinese restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. The food honestly isn’t too bad, just a little overpriced. The service was good but I was perplexed at finding out that this restaurant didn’t have chopsticks for customers to use. Hopefully, in the future, the restaurant will be able to serve the customers with some chopsticks to enhance the dining experience.

We stopped in Clarenville for a short break on our way home after a short vacation in Happy Adventure and decided to get supper while there. After a quick look on Google for a place to eat we decided on Tai-Hong Restaurant and we were not disappointed. It’s was a short detour from the TCH on the east end of Clarenville. Chinese Food can be hit and miss but we really enjoyed our meal and the price was very reasonable. While we waited for our food, I commented to my wife that it must be good food given the large number of people calling to order and stopping in to pick up take out orders. I wasn’t wrong. We ordered the dinner for two and we’re stuffed when we left, with enough for lunch the next day 😋! We will definitely stop in again if we are near. Great service, great food and a great price…. What more can you ask for.

The food was excellent. Great service. What I wasn't to pleased about was I cant eat the rice because it has egg in it and im allergic to eggs. I had to pay 1.00 to change it to simple noodles.
